From the owner

Ar Lan y Mor translates to 'near the sea' which is exactly what it is. The back gate leads you onto the sand dunes which take you down to Newton beach where children and dogs can run free. With 2 single beds and one double, plus a comfortable lounge with patio doors opening onto an enclosed south facing garden, great to relax in after your walk . The house also benefits from having a designated parking space directly in front of it .

We only advertise on 2 secure sites. We do not advertise our house on any social media sites. Newton beach is dog friendly all year around

Newton is a small village with 2 pubs , a church and a well stocked grocery store with an off licence all a short 10 minute walk away. It is an ideal base to visit Cardiff , Swansea and the Gower with the Brecon Beacons also within easy reach .

A 5 mins drive or a 20 minute walk along the beach is Porthcawl which is a lovely family friendly holiday resort which has a fun fair during the Summer holiday season and numerous cafes , restaurants and takeaways as well as a good selection of shops. Rest Bay another large beach which is popular with surfers is also very close by. If you like country parks Margam Park and Kenfig nature park are a short drive and are great places to take a picnic.

Heating is included in the price . We do provide bed linen .We DO NOT provide towels

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Denise (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
