Description

Bright and modern one bedroom first floor flat close to beautiful Porth Beach. It is freshly decorated throughout, with a brand new kitchen installed for 2015.

It has been furnished and equipped as a home from home, with free WiFi, smart TV and access to Netflix included. There is also an allocated parking space, although the beach itself is only 300 metres away. Communal rotary clothes driers are available for use to the rear of the flat.

Porth Beach is quieter than the busy Fistral or Lusty Glaze, but still has a beachside cafe and bar/restaurant. It's very relaxed with clean, golden sand. If you're looking for an active holiday, you will enjoy the great runs, walks or the opportunity to swim in the bay.

Newquay town centre is a 20 minute walk along a scenic route. Amenities close by include a late opening Tesco, Aldi and great restaurants and bars. For those with a car, all the main Cornish towns and villages are within easy reach. Padstow is 20 mins away,

“Very comfortable flat, excellent location for Porth beach and beyond!”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

My wife and I spent two weeks at flat 4a, and had an excellent holiday. The flat was very comfortable, clean and in a quiet complex, but with excellent access to the local beaches at Porth (5 minutes walk), Whipsiderry (10 minutes walk) and Watergate Bay (about 40 minutes walk by coast path or across the beaches). The beaches here are superb, excellent for families, surfers and for a BBQ on the beach watching the sunset. Also close by (easy walk, the steps up and down are steep) is Lusty Glaze cove - the restaurant there is excellent and the sunsets fabulous, a real treat. The flat's owners Moira and Sheila couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. All round excellent!

Thank you for your lovely review of the flat, and for your kind words. Take care, M&S x

“What a superb apartment!”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2016

This is the second time we have stayed here and I can highly recommend it. The decor, furnishings and attention to detail are spot on. The apartment had everything we needed. Sheila is also on hand if there are any problems. Will definitely be staying here again sometime, loved it!

Thank you for a lovely review, it was great to have you back to stay. New sofas planned for next year, so you'll need to come back to test them out! M&S X

“Very clean, cosy flat in excellent location.”

Reviewed 27 Sep 2013

We thoroughly recommend this flat for its cleanliness and proximity to all amenities. All mod cons are available. The owner left printed details of all relevant bus times and places of interest to visit which was very handy indeed. Porth Beach is just 5 mins walk away which is ideal for an early morning or evening stroll. Walking into Newquay town only takes 10/15 mins over the cliff tops with some fantastic views, expecially at sunset. The flat has parking space for one car.
