The full width terrace, with part canopy, sits in a walled private communal garden, shared with the 7 other apartments of this unique and much admired development, by award winning developers Acorn Blue. A short path across the mainly lawned garden leads to a stile over a low wall. From here take in the glorious view of the cove, where the beach leads away to the Atlantic shoreline, framed on either side by the rocky headlands.
Step over the stile and enjoy the beach or head west towards Newquay town (1.6 miles away) and Fistral Beach renowned for surfing, or east towards Watergate Bay and the Jamie Oliver inspired 15 Restaurant (2 miles away) taking the headland pathways.
Just a couple of bays away from the surfers haven of Newquay, Coast apartment 1 offers time out with something for everyone, stylish comfortable surroundings, a fantastic beach on the door step, coastal hikes and breathtaking scenery. Just a short distance by road there are many surf schools including the Extreme Academy sports centre, golf courses, restaurants and other local attractions and amenities. This is a perfect base for relaxation and contemplation, exploration and exhilaration.
Further afield, Porth is well placed to explore all that Cornwall has to offer, with Padstow and Rick Stein's Restaurants 18 miles away, St Ives with it's Tate gallery 32 miles away, and the Eden Project 19 miles away just to name a few.

“Fantastic apartment on Porth Beach”
We stayed at Coast 1 for Christmas, 4 adults and 1 toddler. Upon arriving we quickly realised that the communal garden of the property actually backed into the beach (own access) and there was a pub literally next door to it! The owners had left a welcome pack of tea and biscuits to help get settled in, and the main room was decorated with a few things to get the Christmas spirit going! The property has two bathrooms (one of them en-suite) and was very warm! There is also a private ‘surf store’ in the car park which is ideal for storing any activity equipment you may have with you. The kitchen is also very well equipped, we took a few extras (baking trays/sharp knives/scale etc) down anticipating that Christmas dinner is required, but we found that the extras we’d taken weren’t needed. There is also a ‘wine fridge’! Perfect for keeping the Christmas booze chilled and not taking up valuable space in the main fridge! We stayed for 4 nights, the property is an ideal base for day trips and with Porth being one of the ‘quieter’ towns surrounding the Newquay area, it’s very accessible - Newquay itself is only a few miles away so it’s easily walkable, one of the guests is training for London Marathon so he was out running over the far side of Newquay on some days. We had taken our surfboard down with us and went to Watergate Bay for a surf on Boxing Day, if you don’t have your own board it’s easy enough to hire one from a shop at the beach. Watergate Bay is only approx. 2 miles away Porth on the road heading towards Meagan Porth. All in all, a fantastic apartment in a fantastic location, would definitely stay again!
“Long weekend @ the Beach”
My boyfriend and I had a great long weekend at Coast 1. The apartment was clean, spacious and had underfloor heating which was a luxury. You can walk straight out onto the beach and walk to the local Mermaid Inn for a beverage or hot drink. Janet was so helpful when I made an error with the initial booking and also recommend plenty of places for us to eat out. I would highly recommend to others.

We have just had our second holiday in apartment 1 / Coast. This is a special apartment in a very special part of Cornwall. It is a beautiful holiday facility, right on the beach and maintained to a modern and superb standard. My family love it! Book with confidence, you will not be disappointed !
“Perfect accommodation in an ideal location.”
Coast 1 is a fantastic holiday apartment. It is modern, clean, very comfortable and well equipped. We have just had the most wonderful week there - enjoying our time in the facility and the fantastic Porth Bay. And - what a location! Porth is a very special place. Coast 1 apartment allows you to step out of your lounge, cross a very well kept lawn and jump on to the beach. My family loved it and did not want to come home. Would I recommend? Yes...! (In fact we have booked again for next year.) Book with confidence... you will have a great holiday.
As stunning as always another beautiful stay in a wonderful apartment with views that make you not want to leave will definitely stay again.

This a lovely bright, light, modern apartment, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Its right on Porth beach, you can lie in bed listening to the waves. Parking spaces are a bit tight so I wouldn't like to go in a huge 4x4. I would be more than happy to return!
“Beautiful beach apartment, immaculately presented and perfect for family”
Stayed with my husband and 20 month old daughter and will definitely be back. The apartment is immaculate, modern and includes everything you could need for self-catering (great kitchen crockery, pots, etc all so clean they look unused, sound system, flatscreen tvs in each room). Gorgeous bathrooms and large bedrooms with the master (like the main room) opening onto the garden and views of the beach and cliffs. The apartment is literally seconds from the lovely and quiet sandy beach (surfing is banned here so it means it's quieter than most beaches which is great for playing with children) which is just a hop over the stile at the bottom of the garden. In the evenings with the outdoor space it means you can sit on the patio and not feel trapped in with children in bed which is fab. There's loads of great stuff nearby, lovely walks along the cliffs to all the other nearby beaches, rockpools, and nearby towns and villages (we visited Padstow and Tintagel which were lovely). Can't recommend this place enough. The only thing to mention is that as you have to climb over the stile to access the beach if you were physically impaired or elderly you'd have to take a longer walk around the apartment to get to the beach.
“Amazing location on the beach, fantastic appartment, perfect holiday.”
The property is immaculately presented and superbly furninshed with everything you could need - it really does feel like a home away from home. We travelled with 2 young children (2 & 6yrs), and the appartment had everything we needed. It really is a beachfront location with the garden joining the beach - perfect for the children to play outside in the garden or on the beach but with the convenience of the appartment. There is an outside surf locker and shower which proved very useful. I can not rate this appartment highly enough - and would recomend it to anyone wanting a beachfront get away.
“Luxury apartment in a fantastic location”
Despite traditionally British half-term weather, we have just returned from a very restful week staying in Coast 1. On arrival the apartment was absolutely immaculate. All the fixtures, fittings and equipment provided are of the highest quality, and the beds and sofas extremely comfortable. We really appreciated the helpful information provided both for the apartment and the local area, and loved the subtle Jubilee decoration! The location of the apartment is amazing - literally on the beach, with lovely walks in either direction. Watching the sun set (on the two days the weather allowed it!) was a delight. I would highly recommend a stay at Coast 1.
