Description

Alt na Craig is a large house sleeping 12 on the seafront of Portballintrae with fantastic panoramic views over the coastline. The property has 7 bedrooms and is perfect for large family holidays by the sea.

The house is wonderfully situated for exploring the dramatic Northern Irish coastline. The world famous Giant’s Causeway is just 2 miles away. There are a number of golf courses and nearby Bushmills has the renowned distillery offering guided tours.

It has been let for many years as a holiday home within the family and now is available for others to enjoy. Due to its stunning position and spacious accommodation it is a great place for family gatherings and suitable for groups of all ages. The property has an enclosed garden and a patio area.

Up to two dogs are welcome at the property with an additional charge of £25 per dog.

Upon booking you will be contacted by Cornish Seaview Cottages directly. We will require either card details or a cheque to cover the £300 security deposit. Please note that we do not charge the card. Card details will be destroyed and your cheque returned to you after your stay should there be no damage. Once we have these details we will send out all the information required to access the property including key code, caretaker number, map and directions together with a PDF version of the welcome folder that will be in the property should you wish to read through it prior to your stay. Should you require any assistance during your stay the caretaker can be contacted in the first instance and we are always at the end of the phone.

“New year celebration”

Fantastic house! Seven bedrooms (six with amazing views) 2 sitting rooms, a games room and a big kitchen/diner. We had 6 adults, 6 children and a dog and lots of people coming and going during the day. Lots of room for everyone and the house was warm, clean and welcoming. Definitely recommend this house and hope to be back

“Pet friendly beach house”

The location is amazing-the beach is on the doorstep.This is a great family friendly house as there was 9 of us staying plus our 2dogs we all had plenty of room.The kitchen was well equited the only fault we thought the house was a little tired it could have done with a little face lift the hall was very dark and the front doors could have done with a nice coat of paint to brighten the place up first impression when we arrived were not great but we enjoyed our week

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
