One of the best rentals along The North Coast this beautifully appointed penthouse is located in the child friendly, peaceful seaside village of Portballintrae. The Bayview apartments are adjacent to The Bayview Hotel overlooking the harbour and horseshoe bay.

Boasting uninterrupted sea views and an ever changing sight line encompassing Donegal to The Scottish islands of Isla and Jura.

Decorated throughout with a nautical theme.

Very spacious;spans the top floor of the apartment block.

Suitable for golfers, plenty of space for bags, trolleys Etc. Numerous courses nearby. Perfect location to relax and unwind.

Sleeps 6 -10 comfortably.3 large bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. Built in wardrobes.

Well equipped fully fitted kitchen with wine fridge, Nespresso coffee machine (pods supplied ) soda stream, wok, slow cooker, Foreman grill and toastie maker.

Two large balconies to the rear overlooking surrounding countryside, with space for al fresco dining and BBQs.

The area caters to golfers (links and parkland ),pony trekkers, cyclists, hikers, artists, surfers, geologists, historians, deep sea fishers/divers and shore anglers.

Cosateering, kayaking, SUP can all be booked locally.

Walk to historic Dunluce Castle, The Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery enjoying fabulous views and eateries along the way.

There is easy access to other attractions such as The Rope Bridge, Whitepark Bay, Dunseverick, Binvenagh, Londonderry, Rathlin Island ferry and the film locations for Game Of Thrones.

There is a play park and 2 tennis courts 500yds away.

As this is a family owned holiday apartment guests have FULL USE OF EVERYTHING.

There is a selection of wetsuits, gloves and shoes along with a surf board and 3 body boards for guests to use.

Tennis rackets, crab lines, nets, snorkel, masks a fishing rod,cricket and rounders set are also available.

There are plenty of books, family board games and DVDs suitable for all ages if the weather keeps you inside.

X box 360, controllers and games.

Beach towels, beach chairs, picnic baskets, flasks and a windbreaker.

Guest toiletries provided ( toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner) Hair dryer and straighteners.

A collection of waterproof coats, fleeces, gloves, hats and scarves are also available.

Children's toys. Bath toys. Travel cot, ,high chair, step up stool, toilet seat and Bumbo seats X 2.( Great for the beach )

Pets are also catered for with bowls, dried dog food, clean up bags and extra leads.

Bushmills (1 mile) is home to The Bushmills Distillery and The Bushmills Inn. There are a number of small supermarkets, post office, restaurants, coffee shops,craft shops and art galleries.

There are 2 excellent butchers and four takeaways.

Nearby Portrush (3 miles ) offers amusement arcades, Barry's theme park, indoor play areas, candyfloss and honeycomb galore, seaside cafes and the Ramore dining complex.

The area is home to the Northwest 2000, The Milk Cup, Red Sails Festival The Air Show, Bushmills salmon and whiskey festival and The Potato Festival, among others. During the summer months there is a packed programme of entertainment in nearby Portrush and Portstewart.

The Causeway Coastal Marathon boasts one of the most scenic routes in the world and is fast becoming a must do for runners. (26extreme )

Coleraine (9 miles) is the local town with a very good selection of shops.

All around the area are eateries suitable for all tastes and price ranges, many within walking distance of the apartment, Bartali.

The Bayview hotel is adjacent, and both it and The Bushmills Inn provide entertainment at weekends, usually traditional folk music.

Bushfoot golf club serves meals all day and it’s Sunday carvery is great value.

Portballintrae Boat Club has a good atmosphere for televised sporting events and has frequent entertainment during the summer months.You do not need to be a member.

There is so much to do in the area I have left a large selection of guides to activities, restaurants Etc.

Where there are weekly prices, the following applies except in high season.

3 nights 65% of the weekly rate.

4 nights 75% weekly rate.

5 nights 85%.

6 nights 75% .

We do not cater for "partying weekends" as the apartments are family owned and a place to come and unwind.
