“One of the best places in the world!”

Reviewed 12 Aug 2015

Port Isaac is a great place to visit and dolphin house is the perfect place to stay, situated in a great location. There was 9 of us that stayed at dolphin house including my 6 month old niece, there was plenty of space for everyone, a nice big cosy lounge with huge sofas, a great dining room with a nice large table that can comfortably seat everyone and a lovely garden which has plenty of seating and sun all day! There is also a bbq provided in the garden so we made good use of it. There are lots of great pubs and restaurants all within walking distance from the house, we also had a family meal at the house during our stay which was great. Obviously being in Cornwall you have to eat a pasty or 2 or 3! And there is a great pasty shop about 50 yards from the front door of the house! And a very nice local pub the golden lion opposite the pasty shop, so again very close to the front door. The house itself is full of character. All the bedrooms are a good size and no one complained of a bad nights sleep so all the beds must have been as comfy as mine. There's plenty of bathrooms and everything was spotless on arrival. We are planning a return trip, possibly in the winter so we can make use of the fireplace in the cosy lounge. Port Isaac is a must see destination and I would recommend staying at dolphin house to everyone.

Thank you. Im pleased you enjoyed both Port Isaac and Dolphin House, I hope you book again

“A lovely property full of character in the heart of a charming village.”

This is the nicest holiday lets we have stayed in, The house was lovely and clean and had everything you need for your stay. It is in a fantastic location in the heart of the village with plenty of places to eat/drink within walking distance. Our 8 year old happily entertained himself in the garden and loved looking for things in the rock pools that appear when the tide is out. The location is ideal for exploring all of Cornwall. During our stay we did have a small plumbing problem, but this was quickly rectified by the lovely lady who looks after the property for the owner and it did not impact on our holiday. We would highly recommend to all.

thank you for your kind comments, Im glad you enjoyed your revisit to Dolphin House, hope to welcome you back soon dave brown
