A lovely, home from home, two bedroom bungalow situated on the outskirts of pretty Horton Village on The Gower Peninsula, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The bungalow is part of a 38 bungalow complex with attractive well maintained gardens surrounding it. It offers a wonderful family holiday and is a safe and fun environment for both children and dogs.

The property benefits from a large L-shape Lounge/Diner and Kitchen giving wonderful open plan living. The lounge area has a comfy large corner sofa, there is a pebble effect electric fire to keep you warm at chillier times. There is a table and four chairs for dining and a large 47" wall mounted flat screen tv with a seperate dvd player to keep all the family entertained.

The kitchen area has sink and base units, an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster plus all utensils and cooking equipment. There are two

The kitchen area has sink and base units, an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster plus all utensils and cooking equipment. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin both have wardrobes and a flat screen TV with DVD.

There is one family bathroom with sink unit, wc and electric shower. Please note there is not a bath at this property.

There is a fenced, private rear garden, with decorative stones and a patio. There is a table, four chairs and parasol as well as sun loungers for guests to relax and enjoy the sea air and to partake in some al fresco dining. The property has two heaters in each bedroom. There is a hair dryer, clothes airer, ironing board and iron all available for guests to use.

Electric is included in price as are towels (not beach) and all bed linen and pillows. There is one marked parking space for visitors use, if you have two cars there is some other parking available too. The Bungalow is adjacent to a camping and caravan park which has a lovely bar/restaurant overlooking Port Eynon and Horton Beaches.

There is also a coffee shop/cafe area, outdoor swimming pool (1st March to 18th Nov), tennis courts for hire, a launderette and a little shop for groceries.

Please note poor/no mobile phone signal on some networks. Orange works well, vodaphone is very limited. There is Wifi available for the site it is purchased online for a small fee through the holiday park.

Dogs are very welcome at £10 each per booking. I would be most grateful if they are kept off the furniture and out of the bedrooms. The complex is very dog friendly and there are details in the bungalow showing which beaches you can take dogs on in the area.

The bungalow is STRICTLY NON SMOKING.

Horton, only 16 miles from Swansea, is a pretty little village in South Gower, a designated Area of outstanding Natural Beauty. It is set on a steep hill that stretches down to the beautiful beach. Horton beach becomes Port Eynon beach which is located at the Western end. Horton has a long connection with the lifeboat and Methodism. 26 Westernside Bungalow is only approx 800 metres (10 min walk) from the beach. The Village of Horton offers a Blue Flag sandy beach, and is great for swimming and building sandcastles. It is a popular windsurfing, fishing, cycling and walking area. There are many outdoor activities available on Gower including surfing lessons, horse riding, sailing.26 Westernside is situated approx 5 miles from the other popular beaches of Rhossilli and Three Cliffs Bay. Spectacular coastal scenery, just 5 miles to experience the unforgettable and breathtaking views of Rhossilli and Three Cliffs. Swansea is a vibrant city, with many indoor attractions including a leisure centre, two cinemas, bowling and play areas. It also boasts an award-winning Marina, extensive shopping centre, huge indoor market (selling fresh local produce), museums, galleries and an exciting 'cafe-quarter' where you can find a variety of pubs, restaurants and clubs.
