Now available for the first time in Oaks Lagoons is the opportunity to stay at our delux 1-2 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment (that caters for up to 3 guests and is a spacious 90+ square metres). The apartment has an enormous balcony (over 8 metres long), that includes an intimate corner spa (that can hold 3 guests).

FOR GROUPS OF 4 TO 7 GUESTS:

For larger groups (4-7 guests), we open up the luxurious 3rd bedroom and its ensuite, increasing the overall apartment to a super spacious (120+ square meters), that can comfortably cater for 7 guests.

THE APARTMENT

The apartment is super spacious & comfortable and rarely will you find a place that enjoys such peace and quiet (with no traffic noise whatsoever) The Apartment is fully air conditioned, complimented with ceiling fans throughout and ideal for those on a longer stay, giving all the comforts of home with none of the compromises of the usual holiday apartments.

CATERING FOR UP TO 7 PEOPLE, there is a QUEEN SIZE BED in the master bedroom. In bedroom 2 there are 2 SINGLE BEDS that can be converted into a king size bed (bedroom 2 is an internal bedroom with partitioned sliding walls, its own ceiling fan and air conditioner). There is a spacious DELUX BATHROOM. The luxurious 3rd bedroom (that is opened for groups of 4 or more) has a queen size bed and also a single bed.

The comfortable lounge/dining room includes seating for 6, CABLE TV with video and indoor dining for up to 6 guests. We have installed our own FREE WIFI service for guests, who also have the use of the landline telephone to make free phone calls to mobiles and landlines anywhere in Australia.

But best of all is the SUPER SPACIOUS PRIVATE BALCONY with its INTIMATE CORNER SPA, BARBEQUE and OUTDOOR DINING for up to 6 guests. We have installed privacy screens across the balcony railing, that let you enjoy the view out, but stops others looking in!

THE KITCHEN IS FULLY EQUIPPED to cater for all your cooking needs, with a ceramic cook top, dishwasher, full size fridge, combination oven/microwave, toaster, hot water jug, coffee maker and lots more. All crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided for your stay.

The apartment has its OWN LAUNDRY, with a washing machine and clothes dryer.

We provide guests with bath & beach towels, hand & face towels and all toiletries needed for their stay.

There is also FREE ON SITE PARKING and an elevator for those who do not wish to use the stairs.

Apartment 88 IS NOT a serviced apartment, so we do not service it during your stay. But for stays longer than 8 nights, we provide a complimentary mid stay clean and change of linen & toiletries.

The apartment is OWNED & SELF MANAGED by Peter & Keiko Orchiston. We are Port Douglas locals and whenever possible, like to meet guests on arrival and are always on call to help you with your stay.

OAKS LAGOONS & SURROUNDS

Port Douglas is a beautiful tropical paradise and that is where you will find the fabulous Oaks Lagoons complex, with its 6 resort pools, on site massage, outdoor barbeque & recreation facilities and much more.

All the facilities of Oaks Lagoons are available to guests, including the RESORT STYLE POOLS (2 are heated during our winter months - most important in Port Douglas), the on site massage, the tour advice service and outdoor barbeque facilities.

For those who want to dine out, gourmet dining is just next door at the renowned Ramada Resort. And an easy 5 minute stroll up the road is our neighbourhood shopping complex with the ever popular Otz Cafe, one of Port's best fish & chip shops, a cellars and a medical/dental centre. A few minutes further walk is the famous BeachShack Restaurant as well as the Barrier Reef Tavern, both with fine gourmet dining.

4-Mile Beach is an easy 5 minute (or less) stroll, whilst the centre of Port Douglas is a short 3 minute drive, or an easy 30 minute stroll along the beach (a must do).

The local bus service departs every 10-15 minutes from the adjoining Ramada Resort.
