“Hidden gem”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2015

I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for accommodation on the Isle of Bute. It is decorated to a high standard and is very clean. We were met and shown round by Nigel who made us feel very welcome. The starter pack of food items was very much appreciated. It fitted all of our needs having a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor for my elderly mother in law. The bedrooms on the upper room are very spacious. We lost out to my father the lovely room with the great en suite. Our double room had great views over Port Bannatyne's marina. The kitchen is well laid out and off the dining area there are patio doors leading onto a small terrace which we sat out on and watched a glorious sunset. I would give the cottage a 10 out of 10. We are only sorry we could not have spent longer, saying that there's always the next time.

Thank you for your kind review. It was a pleasure to have you stay. I hope you can return to Port Bannatyne one day and again enjoy what the Isle of Bute has to offer. Best wishes.
