“spacious modern villa in a convenient location but full of clutter.”

The villa is located in the heart of Poros with food shops ,beach and restaurants within 100 meters. It has a good size swimming pool and patio area with bbq and ample outdoor furniture.The garden at the rear is overlooked by an adjacent villa and a tall building to one side prevents the sun reaching the pool area until mid morning.This was late September and we found the pool too cold to use. There is a lawn area but this has been neglected as the grass was a foot high. The villa is equipped with all modern appliances including microwave and a washing machine. There is a multitude of other equipment for living as every cupboard was full but with no apparent thought of what renters might need, for instance there were 43 cups but only one serviceable saucepan and no plug or bowl for the kitchen sink. There were lots of blenders ,food processors,coffee machines,juicers etc.cluttering up the cupboards and work tops. Generally the whole villa was full of the clutter that people might accumulate over a lifetime but never use. There were two bedrooms ,one with a double bed and the other with two singles. The double bed was ok but the bedding was uncoordinated and did not fit properly. The single beds were hard and uncomfortable and again with a mishmash of bedding. Initially the villa appeared to be reasonably clean but this was only superficial as the floors were not clean along with some of the crockery and utensils. To be honest the villa contained so much unnecessary clutter that proper cleaning would be a major undertaking. We had great difficulty in trying to contact the owner on a couple of occasions when we needed to, apparently this was due to his wife giving birth, but in this situation another contact should have been provided.The electrical supply tripped frequently and sometimes we could not reset it. To summarise, if the points I have outlined were attended to this would be a great rental for people wanting a quiet low key holiday.

Every guest is different and have different needs. Something that might be unnecessary for you might be a necessity for others. So we like to be well equipped for the satisfaction of all guests. All clutter is stored away and nothing was on your way. I am really struggling to understand your point here. 2. All beds are comfortable and he have several linen that match each bed. We also have plenty of linen stored away. Anything you didnt like you could of changed or contacted me to do so. You were a couple staying in our king size bedroom. How did the single beds seem uncomfortable when you didnt sleep there at all? 2. The back yard is well looked after you can enjoy the pool in full privacy, relax on the sunbeds or have a bqq. I am sorry if you found the pool cold but you did visit at the very end of the season/october. 3. in regards to our communication we exchanged several emails prior to your arrival. I sent you info for the area, maps of the location and even booked the airport transfers for you. I was in hospital with my wife for 10 days and you know the NHS doesn't allow mobile phones within their premises. Sorry i couldn't answer some calls i was always available via text or email that would of been preferable instead of calling. However i did speak to you on the phone and replied via email to your questions. 3. The electricity trip was a random failure in the whole area due to weather/thunder storms nothing that could be fixed or prevented. I am sure it didnt last more than a few minutes if even that. In regards to you return transfer to the airport. the driver was waiting for you at the house for 20 minutes but nobody showed up. You could of notified me or them to cancel the return transfer if you didn't need it and not just disappear. All the best with your future travels Best, Panos
