The Sail Loft is a three storey town house converted from a warehouse located in Old Town Poole in an industrial style featuring a stunning loft-living space. Fully refurbished in 2016 the Sail Loft provides a totally unique place to stay comprising luxury kitchen and bathroom, quality furnishings, brick finishes, exposed metal trunking and steels. The entire place is yours during your stay, including your own dedicated covered parking space off the street situated immediately adjacent to the front door.

Located moments from the historic Quay and the diverse pubs and eateries whilst also providing an excellent base for exploring all that Dorset and the surrounding area has to offer including the New Forest, Jurassic Coast and award winning beaches of Sandbanks. We can provide you with hints and tips to make sure you get the most from your stay in this beautiful part of England.

Located on the top floor is a contemporary bright and airy open plan living area with wooden flooring. This impressive space includes a double height lounge area space with feature windows, 2 sofas, flat screen TV, DVD player, iPoD dock, books, games and plentiful local information. There is a good sized dining table with seating for 6 people. The well appointed kitchen is fitted with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, hob, extractor fan and microwave. We have provided a Nespresso machine and ensured you have all the equipment you need to cater at home including kitchen basics.

A washing machine is also provided.

On the first floor of the Sail Loft is the bedrooms and bathroom. There are two double bedrooms sleeping four people. Each cosy bedroom is furnished in a relaxed coastal style ensuring you feel at home from the moment you arrive. With adequate storage and essentials such as hairdryer, toiletries and robes for your use during your stay. Linen and towels are provided – including beach towels. The bedrooms share use of a luxurious bathroom with overhead shower, WC and hand basin with porcelenosa tiles – the feature lighting means you really can relax after a day out and about. Stairs lead to the second floor comprising the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen space.

The front door is located at ground floor level and includes a dedicated undercover off street parking for one car in the lit secure parking area immediately adjacent to the front door and locked storage space for bikes, bike racks, roof boxes and other equipment etc. There is a size limit on the car that can be accommodated with the maximum being 5m long by 2m high - please ask if you are unsure. Stairs lead to the first floor comprising the two bedrooms and bathroom.

The Sail Loft is situated in a fantastic neighbourhood with lots going on within the immediate vicinity whether you want to explore Poole itself, its history, culture, restaurants, beaches, family attractions, nature, walking and cycling.

Within walking distance is the historic Quay, Poole Museum, Poole Pottery, crabbing, fishing, boat trips to Brownsea island and Wareham. There are regular events on the Quay during the weekdays and weekends over the summer including fireworks every other Thursday night. Plentiful activities within close proximity including indoor climbing, sailing, windsurfing, SUP lessons and hire for all abilities.

We can advise on water sports tuition and hire dependent on your needs.
