Description from owner

Description

Les Volets Bleus is a pretty one bedroom stone cottage which is set in half an acre of peaceful gardens, within a quiet rural location. The cottage faces south which enjoys the sun and is good for our grapes, but has some trees for shade when the temperature gets too warm!

On the ground floor it has a large lounge area with a woodburner which can be used at cooler times, a satellite television, so that you don't miss your favourite programmes.Wifi available. The kitchen is bright and well equipped and the dining area is light and airy. Upstairs there is a beautiful large bedroom with views over the countryside and it has a comfortable king size bed. There is also and a separate bathroom.

A home from home with lots of little extras and a comfortable bed. Convenient for Pontivy and Josselin.

“Relaxing week”

Lovely quiet relaxing week in a pretty french cottage in the countryside. Perfect. Good value for money.

Owner's reply: Glad you had a good time in our peaceful cottage, sorry we weren't able to meet you but perhaps another time.

“Beautiful Cottage”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2017

This was our second time to stay at the cottage, and our experience was every bit as enjoyable as the first. The cottage is clean, well equipped and comfortable. The South facing garden is an absolute sun trap. The peacefulness and tranquility is fantastic. The nearby village of Rohan is a great place to go for a stroll by the canal. Finally, Matt and Sue are perfect hosts. It is perfect for couples who want a quiet break in the countryside

Owner's reply: Thank you and glad your stay was as good as before, was good to have seen you both again. Take care, Matt and Sue

“Perfect Hideaway”

This was our second visit to this beautiful little house. A very secluded spot, within easy reach of a great many beautiful towns. The house is comfortable, well equipped and well cared for, set in a very private garden (which is a big point for us) on a quiet road. We love being able to relax in the garden, have a barbecue there, or go on an excursion to many superb places within easy reach - in any direction! We hope to return again soon. Great hosts too - sorry we missed their visit as we were out for the day!

“It does exactly what it says on the tin !”

Les Volets Bleus is a beautiful cosy cottage, in a peaceful rural location. Just like it says on the web page, the cottage has everything you need and was spotlessly clean on arrival. It is ideal for a couple seeking a relaxing break. The nearby village of Rohan (5 km) has two pubs a pizzeria and a small supermarket. The large town of Pontivy is only 10 minutes drive from the cottage. We would definitely recommend Les Volets Bleus to our friends.
