“So close to the beach and lovely place to stay”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2016

The apartment is a great size, with parking outside. It was brilliant to have some where to dry the wetsuits securely and keep the surf board, plus we could go for a surf session and then get back into the warm again very quickly. The kitchen has everything we needed and it was great there was some items already there. We did struggle that we could not get the wifi to work, but we are more than happy to stay there another time in the near future. The deposit was returned very quickly.

Thank you - so glad you enjoyed your stay.

“Great accomodation, Great location, Great holiday”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2015

Stayed at Robin for a week mid September, property was very clean and was well equipped. Rita the owner met us on arrival and was really helpful and welcoming. The location was fantastic, wetsuit on, walk across road straight on to the beach. The property had its own parking space and side entrance to the rear garden which was great when returning from the beach wet and sandy. The location was ideal for exploring although be aware that if cycling its up hill both ways out of Polzeath. As soon as we returned home we booked for 2 weeks next September.

Thank you for lovely review - looking forward to seeing you again in 2016.

“Superb location, out of the front door, cross the road and onto that beach.”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2015

"Robin" certainly has the perfect location. It really is out of the front door, cross the road and onto the beach. Good selection of Restaurants and Cafes and a very handy "Spar" for stocking up. And of course shops for having a browse. The surf was quite good during our stay and there are certainly plenty of good walks you can do and places to visit. "Robin" was certainly comfortable and well equipped. The garden was a bonus and well protected from the wind so a nice space to sit when the sun shines.

Thank you - so glad you enjoyed your stay and found the property suited all your requirements.

“Great Location - Great Property”

Reviewed 4 Oct 2013

The location of this property could not be bettered; it was close to the beach and shops but not overwhelmed by noise. Access to the garden via a side-gate made for easy access with surf-boards, bikes etc. Eating out in the garden would have been great, but the weather didn't make this possible. The property itself was a case of "what you see is what you get". The bed was comfortable; having all linen and towels provided was a boon, and the property was spotless. There was free Wi-Fi available at various sites around Polzeath, but it would have been great to have access to this facility in the property itself.

Thank you for your positive comments. As regards the provision of WiFi, it is available in local café. We are very reasonably priced compared to the neighbouring properties, and try to provide all the amenities that guests require to enable them to enjoy their stay, so do not feel the added expense for WiFi should increase the cost of the holiday for other guests. We are pleased you enjoyed your holiday and the great walks and cycling . Look forward to seeing you again in the future.

“Great location”

Reviewed 18 Sep 2013

Great location, lovely apartment. Obviously it is a small appartment but perfect for friends or family of 3 or (just) 4. Really great stay and Rita was very helpful. Lovely sized garden and great to have the BBQ.

Many thanks for your comments - hope you will visit us again.

“Convenience”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2013

Amazingly close to the beach and with own parking in a busy resort is ideal for families. Polzeath is a Mecca for surfers although the beach is also great for family holidays as it is patrolled by lifeguards. Surf schools are very close to "Robin" and one of our grandsons loved the lessons there. "Robin" is a very comfortable holiday home with its own garden and is very well equipped. Rita, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The bungalow was very clean and everything was provided for a good holiday.

So glad the beach and apartment were to your satisfaction. Would be pleased to see you again sometime in the future.

“Amazing Location, lovely Place to stay”

Reviewed 30 Jul 2013

Loved staying at Robin Cottage. It was so convenient for the beach, literally a stones throw away. As well as being next to the bars, restaurants, shops and cafes of Polzeath. It's also a short drive to Padstow (30mins) and to Newquay Airport (45mins). We had great fun at the Surfs Up surf school every morning, which again was just across the road. The Cottage is very clean and well presented and it also has a lovely garden. Rita is very helpful and we will definitely be going again. Loved it.

Thank you for lovely comments - will be pleased to welcome you back again.

“So close to the fantastic beach and coastline”

Reviewed 30 May 2012

WOW! we could not have asked for easier access to the beach and the awesome coast line (unless we slept on the beach itself). Nice to have a dedicated off road parking space too. The house was so well equipt it made our self catering stay so easy. Rita has thought of everything! Even down to tin foil, toliet roll, picinic bowls etc., a baby bath and a shower-head attachment for the taps (makes washing a shower scared toddler much easier). Polzeth is a great family place to stay and so was this rental.

Thank you for your response. Glad you enjoyed your stay in Robin at Polzeath.

“Great Accommodation and Fabulous Location”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2011

We are frequent visitors to Cornwall, but have never stayed in Polzeath before. Our accommodation 'Robin' was all that we had hoped for and more. All the facilities, crockery and utensils we needed to cater for ourselves were provided and we made good use of the large private decking area to barbecue and store our body boards and wetsuits. Everything was very clean and in good working order. You couldn't ask for a better location as the spacious beach was just across the road and the surf was good for body boarders. There is a supermarket, post office, fish & chip shop & restaurant just around the corner. A short walk up a STEEP hill brings you to Carters pub & restaurant where you can eat, drink, play pool, listen to bands and get a mobile signal! Although the weather wasn't brilliant, we had a fabulous holiday.

So glad you liked our accomadation, and the facilities it offered. We hope to welcome you back as one of our regular guests in the future. Thank you for your positive comments which are much appreciated.

“Surfers & Beach Lovers Paradise!”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2011

Excellent location - just footsteps away from the beach! Kids loved the Surf Schools and beach. Husband loved running along the cliff tops and I loved the coffee shop! Everything you could possibly think of had been provided - even the washing-up liquid! Everything was lovely and clean. Accommodation perfect for us with our two teenage children. Garden would be fantastic and safe for those with younger children. Also think would be ideal for older guests as there are no steps in the property. There is a little supermarket just a minute away along with a newsagent and surf shop! Would definitely like to come again - thank you!

Thank you for coming - a pleasure to welcome you. Hope you will visit us again.
