Set back from the waterfront by a terrace, Quayside House brings the outside in via two sets of French doors, allowing you to sit and relax with a coffee or a glass of chilled wine and take in the view, whilst watching the children playing on the beach only a few yards away, and this pleasure extends upstairs, with each bedroom enjoying the same stunning views out across the estuary to Fowey. With six bedrooms, six bath / shower rooms, and spacious living areas, Quayside House can comfortably accommodate up to 10 / 12 guests, making it an ideal place to share a long overdue holiday away with family and friends.

At the front of the house is a paved terrace which enjoys incredible views out over the estuary to the beautiful town of Fowey. There is patio furniture and a BBQ, making it a great spot to wind down after a day exploring all the local area has to offer.

“Lovely house, great location and views”
The house has everything you need and the owners are very helpful and prompt. I stay here many times as a child when it was a guest house. The owners have modernised it so that it is smart and well equipped, but it has retained its charm. it's in a great location for the little beach, to take the foot ferry to Fowey and for the two local pubs.

Exactly what it says on the tin. No hiccups, very helpful owners, lovely position, very well appointed. Highly recommended.
“An excellent house in an unsurpassable location”
The house is large and airy and unusually well equipped. The views from every window are superb. The fascination of watching the boats bobbing in the harbour and the foot ferry passing to and from Fowey never faded. The pub next door, the Lugger, has just changed hands adn the new landlord is friendly adn the food is excellent. The pub behind the house, the Russell Inn also does good food, the largest piece of cod I have ever seen, and a good pub quiz on a Thursday evening. We spent two weeks at Quayside Hosue with four gernations of the family aged from 10 months to 87 years and all were accommodated comfortably and happily.
“Location, Location, Location”
If you are reading this because you are thinking of booking Quayside House, then my advice is book it. I you are not considering booking this property, you should! The location is what makes this place. Its right on the Quay in a small and beautiful village. Kids will love the proximity to the beach, adults will love sitting on the patio, BBQ going, glass of wine in hand, feeling like a million dollars as the world passes by. The house is perfectly well equipped and is very comfortable, there is very little event the most demanding person could ask for. .....further advice, if you are staying here, hire a boat so you can explore the estuary and Fowey ay your leisure.
“stunning house, views and location”
We had seen the pictures of the house before we arrived, but pictures alone do not properly reflect the real charm of the house and the quality of everything that has been done to it. The accommodation was fabulous. Very well thought out. Enjoyed our stay immensely.
“A beautiful house in a perfect location”
A super house, with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Prepare yourself for the very steep hill up to the car park, if you are unlucky enough not to get a space on the quay! Overall a fantastic week in a great setting.

Quayside House is in a lovely spot in Polruan, next to two very good pubs and the passenger ferry to Fowey. We love the views whatever the weather. The house is extremely well appointed and very comfortable for an extended stay. Parking at the quayside and public car parks has never caused any problem and we have always been able to unload and load the cars outside very easily. The children (of all ages) love playing on the beach outside the house when the tide is out.
