Our Comfortable Holiday bungalow 11 Granite Henge "Squirrels Drey" is located in a small Holiday complex in the area of Trelawne on The beautiful South Cornish Coast, located midway between the harbour towns Looe 2 miles & Polperro 1.5 miles. and the beautiful coastline of Talland Bay just 1 mile. Bus stop for Looe & Polperro just outside complex.
The 2 bedroomed Bungalow (sleeps 4) offers a peaceful & comfortable stay all year round along with all the modern facilities you'd expect from your own home. The outdoor heated pool (open 1st May - 30th September) "free to use" is a great place to swim & relax and is a focal point for the complex. The Complex is built in an old granite Quary, Hence the name "Granite Henge" and offer its own little subtropical climate, home to many spieces of butterflies and insects and lovely plants.

“Comfortable, quiet modern cottage; good amenities and access.”

We had a good holiday despite mixed weather. As we have no car, we found the nearby camp shops useful, and by planning ahead each day we made best use of the local buses including one to Polruan whence we walked the coast path back to Polperro with excellent - sometimes giddy - views till mist came down and a bell began ringing, probably to warn ships away from the rocks. Beds definitely comfortable, chairs also. Shower, swimming pool, outdoor clothes airer, TV/radio very good. Kitchen equipment good, lacked scourer (so we bought one) and tea-cosy. A few bits of DIY needed attention - but didn't spoil our stay. Latch of top right lounge window loose; switch of strip-lights in kitchen erratic but workable; shower's water didn't come through the outer holes, no problem yet but could mean a blockage soon? Location deliciously quiet despite the music festival in Looe. Memorable night-time sounds were an owl, and thunder during the last night!

The annual Looe music festival is one of the big weekends of the year and many great acts have appeared over the years. We are sorry that there appears to have been some issues which we will look into as soon as possible as these have not been raised before. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
