From the courtyard the house opens up to another outside area with an open air barbecue-kitchen and dining area with views to a beautiful lily pond.

The separate pool terrace with a spacious decking for sunbathing is comfortably set away on the side of the house and its a fenced-in and secure pool area with a separate Jacuzzi spa pool.

A main entrance door opens up into the ground floor of the property - there is a reception hallway which has double doors leading out into the garden area at the rear of the property. Also off this hallway to the left is the large lounge area with the latest entertainment systems. This leads into the dining room which has double doors leading out into the garden. The kitchen area is well planned out with a fantastic bulthaup kitchen. On this level there is a separate laundry room and shower bathroom which leads to the villa's games room equipped with a Nintendo Wii, TV, table games, toys and books.

To the right of the reception entrance and in ground level, 3 of the villas bedrooms are situated. There are 2 twin bedrooms which share a full bathroom and 1 double bedroom which has fitted wardrobes and an en-suite shower bathroom. A staircase leads from the courtyard to the first floor where an amazing double bedroom is located with fantastic views looking out to the Colonya Valley. Location description from owner

The Balearic Islands region

Mallorca (also known as Majorca) is a Spanish island in the Mediterranean, and is the largest and the most popular of the Baleares (Balearic) Islands with Palma de Mallorca as its capital city. The island is well-known for its purpose built resorts and package holidays. Majorca, with a hard 'j', is a place invented by foreigners, where the sun always shines, the beer flows and the nearest you get to local culture is an argument with a taxi-driver. Mallorca, the local name for the island, is quite different and far more complex. This guide is about Mallorca. Stunning scenery for hiking, cycling and golf; luxury hotels and hip hideaways; superb marinas, boats, and sailing; top restaurants, tapas bars and food; great nightlife and bars; amazing villas, fincas and real estate; and this is what we focus on here on SeeMallorca.

Pollenca

Pollenca or Pollensa is a locality in the Island of Majorca, with a population of about 20,000 and has one of the richest histories in the Mediterranean Sea. Fenicians, romans and arabs, etc, passed through their ports.Today Puerto Pollenca or Pollensa as some simply call it is a beautiful city in the north of the Island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, Spain. It is one of the most important holiday destinations. It has many things to offer it's guests...sea, mountains, culture, leisure, fun, and plenty of space to take relaxing walks. Above all it is a place to enjoy your holidays to the maximum.Pollenca has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from when we speak of it's gastronomy. You'll find traditional Mallorquin dishes, as well as many international restaurants that have began to grow due to the tourist popular demand. You will also not have any problems finding an accommodation. There are plenty of apartments to choose from, hotels, luxury villas, chalets, rural homes and hostels. You can choose to be close to the sea, in the city or in the mountains, it all depends on you and what you want. It is definately a paradise for nature lovers as there are beautiful views to contemplate, and trails and beaches to go trekking in or bike riding.Pollenca also has many isolated nudist beaches as well as urban more frequented beaches, restaurants in which to enjoy delicious meals as well as taste the traditional mallorquin products like "butifarra" and "sobrasada".

“Great place- great pool!”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2015

I was travelling with my family which include 2 children aged 2yrs and 8yrs of age. This is a great location- less than 5mins drive from Pollenca centre and probably a 20min walk (which we never did). It's off the main road into Pollenca. The villa is set as an open court-yard which gets ample shade to have any of your meals and entirely enclosed to allow the children to roam freely - the exception is the stairs leading to the double bedroom upstairs. The pool is great- hardly ever needed to be cleaned and proper sun lounges provided. Theres also a hot tub next to the pool which we never needed to use on this occasion as the weather was fantastic. Inside, the villa has a separate room for children -like a games room so great from older children as well as the main lounge and 2 dining areas- one more formal. There are plenty of bathrooms all well equipped. The only negative is there is a lack of kitchen utensils e.g. can opener/hand whisk etc. The vendor was extremely attentive- provided a more adequate cot immediately when explained the initial cot provided was not suitable. I would definitely stay here again and most certainly would recommend it.
