An elegant stone villa in the peaceful residential area of Crestatx, Pollença. Les Pells is in a wonderful location with views of the hills and a gated driveway, and still less than 10 minutes by car from the old town, and just 15 minutes from the sea. The house is all at ground level with lots of natural light from full-height doors onto the garden. There's a smart kitchen and a comfortable lounge-diner leading to a covered terrace by the pool.

The bedrooms and bathrooms are very stylish with lovely natural materials like stone and wood. There are two doubles, one with an extra large bed, and a twin, as well as a family bathroom and a shower bathroom. The garden looks out at wooded hillsides, with a great pool and terracing with loungers, lawns, a shady covered terrace for eating, and a separate barbecue house and cooking area.

The property is professionally managed, with cleaning each week, plus a mid week towel change. The garden and pool are also maintained weekly. Garden watered by auto irrigation system.

The bedrooms are very stylish with lovely natural materials like stone and wood.

There are two doubles, one with an extra large bed. Family bathroom and a shower bathroom. There's a smart kitchen with all the equipment (hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave,etc.) Lounge/diner runs to the back of the house, with stone floor, several sets of double doors onto the terrace, a fireplace, sofas, a dining table, satellite TV, DVD/stereo. This is a large spacious room with white walls and contemporary furniture. WIFI

The villa is approached by a private drive way, and then gated entrance to the villa. There is a large front area with significant parking area. To the side of the property is a grassed area, away from the pool. The rear garden is south facing, and is a natural sun trap. The villa has a large covered terrace area with patio doors from the living room. On the terrace is a large table to sit 6 with wicker chairs and a table tennis.

The pool is 8.5 x 4 metres with Roman steps. The area is all paved, with steps down from the terrace. Around the terrace there is 6 sunbeds, and a barbecue on the terrace. There are additional grassed areas of the garden which is suitable for children to play, and although it is a very sunny garden, you can also find shade.

Pollensa

“Fantastic once again”

This is our second stay at les pelles, the last being 3 years ago. Once again the villa and level of service with the owners was perfect. Looking forward to our next stay. Thanks again joan Regards Michael

“Artistic video created too high expectations”

Pros New construction and cleanliness of property Situated close to the highway exit within an area of similar villas and surrounded by gardens The garden/swimming pool Cons service: 1/despite of our arrival being known for 2 months ahead we had to fight our own way into the villa 2/the cleaning lady (mother of the owner?) gave us a hard time that we asked for the towels and the bedlinen be changed once a week ( every 5 days) 3/the owner seems to lack respect for our time as he could not be bothered to give us an exact time when to stop by to reimburse our deposit 4/ the owner charges you a hefty 20 Euro for a beach towel per person ( new one cost 10 eur) 5/necessary gimmicks in the kitchen were rare and few: salt, washing liquid...for example there were exactly 2 tablets for the dish washer, 2 toilet rolls at our arrival. 6/little flexibility was shown when we asked to return the house slighly later than 10 am. There was a contradiction between the owner saying that the new renters would arrive on Saturday and the calendar showing the availability for Saturday. 7/bed mattresses were of poor quality 8/ TV was probably over 15 years. 9/ as construction work was done close by, we profited less from the garden then we had expected( noise!)

Even thought I respect every customers review I was surprised to read this one in particular because we are used to have very good opinions regarding our villa. Firstly I would like to emphasize that the video we show in our web was not made to create high expectations. The truth is that the great majority of our clients think that the villa is even better than what they expected. We support the positive points this customer outlined in his review however we absolutely disagree with the negative opinions because we don’t consider them to be solid arguments. For example: 1) I consider that the itinerary from the airport to our villa is clear because we always remember to send an email with the map and all the necessary information to guide our clients as better as possible. In 5 years we haven’t had any complaints regarding this point and I always give my phone number in case there is any problem. 2) Regarding this point I think that there was a misunderstanding because my mother doesn’t speak English. I am sure that the client probably understood that the towels and the sheets would be changed every 5 days however we always explain that we do this every 5 working days (therefore every week). 3) I always reimburse the deposit the day I tell the customer I will. If the client is not present when I arrive I leave the deposit in the entrance. I don’t specify an exact hour because I prefer not to bother my clients on their last day of holidays. 4) We don’t understand why this client complains about the 20 euro charge in swimming towels because it is just an option we give to our clients and no one is forced to pay for this service if they don’t want. Furthermore this client didn’t ask for this service neither paid for it. We don’t charge more money than the price we accord at the beginning. 5) Normally in all private renting villas there are no gimmicks; however we always leave what we consider necessary for our clients when they first arrive to the villa. 6) We are always flexible when our client asks to return the house at another time (we are sure many clients agree). In this case, we couldn’t be able to let them return the house later on that day, even though the calendar showed the availability of the villa on Saturday, because we had a private event on the same day. 7) Bed mattresses are white, clean and new. 8) We agree that the TV is not new but it works perfectly and we have all satellite channels. 9) The client’s last complain was concerning the noise that came from construction work going on nearby, however this is not possible because from April to October this is not permitted as it is a residential area. In conclusion, our villa is a beautiful and peaceful option for family vacations. We ensure that our clients feel as comfortable as possible by taking care of every detail. We invite you to come and enjoy our family villa.

This Villa is in an excellent location in the area of Crestatx which is very convenient for Pollenca, Puerto Pollenca and Alcudia area as well. It is also very convenient to the spectacular Formentor Penninsula. The villa is very fresh with all the modern and comfrtable conveniences you will wish for. It feels like a real home from home and the 1.5 mile run to the local town and supermarket will enable you to keep stocked up with all your requirements. The extensive range of restaurants in various local towns will provide plenty of choise for eating out.
