Literally on the beach of one of the biggest lagoons in Mauritius, our two gorgeous straw bungalow huts will keep you dreaming day and night! Located on Pointe d'Esny beach, come here for calm and a taste of the authentic Mauritian life. Ideally located half way between the historic town of Mahebourg and the Blue Bay marine Park, you can enjoy windsurfing, kitesurfing, snorkeling and boat trips. We have kayaks, a stand up paddle and a light sailing boat available for use.

The Case Mama is a home away from home, you are welcome to use the shared kitchen, dinning area, living room and multimedia area. The main building is a typical Mauritian thatched villa which houses 4 rooms. There are 2 beach huts/bungalows on the compound.

Getting around

We can organise a taxi to/from the airport for you. There's a bus stop just at the back of the house. Mahebourg and Blue Bay are just 5-10min by bus and 45min on foot. You can also walk to Blue Bay on the beach. From Mahebourg there are bus connections to Port Louis, the south and the east of the island.

Interaction with guest

La Case Mama is a family home, there's a friendly backpacker atmosphere, people interact and spend time together on the beach. We propose dinner for an additional 600Rs/person and breakfast is included in the price. We are happy to provide information on local activities. Please ask your questions in the day time... we also like a rest in the evening! ;-)

How do damage deposits work?
