A Modern style 2 floor house 200 meters from the beach with a rear patio area as well its own roof terrace and shared swimming pool. The lounge has a 40" Flat screen TV showing Spanish and English cable programmes including movies, sports and radio channels, a DVD player and dining table and chairs. The kitchen has an electric oven and electric halogen hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and all amenities. There are two bathroom/shower rooms. The patio has a table and chairs along with two sun beds. The front of the house has its own driveway and gates, where you can park a car.

Situated in the urbanization of Playa Honda, it has a handy local shop and a couple of beach bars, it is in a quieter area with its main feature being close to the calm shallow warm waters of the Mar Menor (Little Sea) ideal for families looking for a good beach with a safe place for children to be able to swim and great for water sports. A good size communal swimming pool is available at the apartment

For the more adventurous you can drive out to the harbour of Cabo de Palos, explore the busy La Manga strip, venture through the Calblanque region with its remote, roads, hills, beaches and old mining remains, or explore the harbour city of Cartagena.

If you are interested in making a booking, please note on arrival an additional 50 euros cash needs to be paid to my key holder, this is to meet you at the property, check you in , to be your point of contact for any issues you may have, to check you out upon leaving, to advise me if the full damage deposit can be returned and to clean and wash all bedding etc after.

Un buen tamaño piscina comunitaria está disponible en el apartamento si no quieres aventurarse.

Para los más aventureros se puede ir al puerto de Cabo de Palos, explorar la concurrida franja de La Manga, aventurarse por la región de Calblanque con sus remotos caminos, colinas, playas y antiguos restos mineros, o explorar la ciudad portuaria de Cartagena.

The Region of Murcia region

The Area has the typical Mediterranean semi-arid subtropical climate, it has been recognized by the W.H.O as one of the most favourable climates in the world in which to live, with mean annual temperatures of 18ºC, with summers up to 40ºC and winters averaging 11ºC during December and January and rainfull averaging less than 34 cm annually.

As a geographical accident of nature we have La Manga del Mar Menor, a coastal strip of land, which on one side offers the unprotected Mediterranean shore and on the other placid crystalline waters, infinite beaches with sandy sea beds and the picturesque fishing village of Cabo de Palos.

Unique to this area is the beach and surrounding hills of Calblanque, a highly considered natural region.

Playa Paraiso

The Mar Menor (Little Sea) would be a lagoon if it wasn't for a handful of inlets through the Strip(a 22 km-long spit of land called La Manga, on which most of the tourism development for the region has been constructed) that divides it from the Mediterranean and it is usually about 5 degrees warmer than the main sea and cover 170 km2. La Manga Club is a short drive 4 km inland which offers a whole host of activities including golf, tennis and spa facilities, here to are a good selection of bars and restaurants and the club is open all year round to the public. The area although somewhat quieter and very Spanish, offers a great Go Karting track as well as lots of great restaurants, whether it is at the local village of Los Belones which is a 3 minute drive away, or the Cabo de Palos fishing village with its harbour restaurants 7 minutes away. If you are looking for something a little more English, then why not visit the Caravan club off the main road, which offers great food, a great location and entertainment. Fans of water sports will find one of the best places in the world for practicing sailing, canoeing, swimming, water-skiing, jet-skiing, windsurfing and every other type of water sport activity in its numerous clubs, ports and sailing schools.Other Local activities available are golf, mountain biking, hiking, horse riding, fishing, diving, tennis and paragliding.
