“Great location shame about the villa and owner”
I will start with the positives: Location is perfect - short walk to beach, restaurants, shopping. The villa is very spacious. Now for the negatives: The villa and furnishings are generally old and tired. Two sunbeds were broken (we were a party of 6) and told only about one Sunbed covers very worn and thin (not the ones in the photos) making sunbeds uncomfortable Slats around the pool were broken (not fixed during our stay) Outside lounge furniture was dirty (used tissues found) Cockroaches in the basement (the owner told us not had them before and it was because we left food out). We hadn't left food out there was one in there when we arrived and a can of cockroach spray under the sink. There were 3 seen on second night so didn't use this floor after that Mould in the shower upstairs Burnt saucepans in the cupboard Draining board broken Dishwasher door broken These are just a few of the things I can remember. We didn't cook in the villa or use the washing machine so unable to comment about those. Now to the management... We travelled as a party of 6 - 2 adults and 4 13/14 year old girls. Our flight was a late one and we didn't arrive at the villa until after 10. There was no welcome pack (not even a bottle of water) and we were told the local supermarket might or might not be open. It was shut. We then went on a long walk trying to find food and water. I was told there was no welcome pack as I didn't request one. As I paid 2000 EUR for 5 nights I would have thought at least a couple of bottles of water would be provided in a hot climate. It took them 48 hours to have the basement treated for cockroaches - not great when you are staying only 5 days and we weren't told when it was done There is no where to store your luggage on your last day. We weren't told about this and had to ask a couple of times for them to agree to let us leave it in the garage. We asked in the information office at the beach as well and there isn't anywhere in that area. When we went to collect our lugguage from the villa on the last day the owner wanted to show us some damage. The first thing he showed us were some marks under the sofa in the lounge. (apparently caused by fireworks - we did not have these) He had to move the sofa to show us. These were not caused by our group but unfortunately as we didn't take any photos of the floor under the sofa when we arrived we cant prove it. The room is very large and I have no idea why anyone would want to move it! The other damage was to the cover of the hot tub. I accept our group was responsible for some damage to the cover. This cover is 7 years old and heavily used and on its last legs. Hopefully a new one has been purchased with the money they took from our deposit to replace it. They tried to keep 350 of our deposit but were given 250 - some of which is for damage we did not cause but can not prove. If you do stay at this villa I would advise you to go round with a video camera as soon as you arrive filming everything - even under that big heavy sofa so you don't get charged for damage you didn't do.
Dear Julie, thank you for your review, we'll work about it. I am very sory about the damages you made in the villa , but I had to charge you for that. I understand that you are very upset, but Tripadvisor specialists decided to keep a part of damage deposit and it was right. As you saw the floor in the living room is damaged, the probable reason is fire (or small fireworks). I will not discuss why it could happened. You catch my words for nothing. Theonly I am sure that it was not like now before your stay. You also can see photos, I have attached earlier that it was some small burned parts of something. Our cleaning lady cleans the floor every time guests leave the villa and it was perfect before your stay. It could happened without moving the sofa if some part of fire put down of the sofa And the second thing is broken cover of the jacuzzi. You saw and confirmed that it is broken. I didin't sorted out the cockroaches issue, because you didn't answer me at what time you are at home. It is not acceptable to enter the house without your permisson or present! That's why we sorted out at the day of your check out (next day). The maintance company came and made a traitement, maybe you saw their car when you was leaving the villa. They came at 12:15. The only one sun bed is broken in the pool area. the second one is upstairs (near the jacuzzi) and is not for use in the pool area. I never promised you any welcome pack and yes, you asked me about your luggage and I did a favour for you to keep it in the villa as long as I could. You took your luggage at 17:20! At 17:30 next clients came! It is a shame... I wish you all the best and hope that next time your party will not have such effects.
The luxury villa was definitely luxury! It does need a few things fixing and updating however these are minors. The service we received was fantastic, we were offered a reasonable transfer from the airport and help in booking trips. We would definitely go back and would certainly recommend it!

“Good location, has potential to be an amazing villa, overall disappointed”
We stayed at this villa as a party of 10 which included 6 adults and 4 children, the villa is nice but needs some tlc, there are signs or wear and heavy use combined with poor maintenance, the evening we arrived the kids went straight in the pool, within minutes, tiles were coming from the bottom of the pool, the kids then had to stay away from that end of the pool all week, the air conditioning only worked in the main lounge and NONE of the bedrooms, I messaged the owner who sent out an engineer (the next day, we had to wait in till 3pm) only for the engineer to say that the air conditioning was broken and none fixable! The next day the pool went all milky? I messaged the owner again, he sent a woman round the next day who skimmed the pool, which had little effect and basically rendered the pool unusable for the last 5 days of the holiday! The hot tub kept tripping the electrics every few minutes when turned on, being on the top floor was annoying as I had to keep going downstairs to reset the trip switch, this basically rendered the hot tub unusable! The bed in the master room was falling apart, the shower head in the master room en suite fell off with signs of being glued on! We were left no instructions of how to enter the complex, having to get one of the kids to climb the gate until a nice lady staying in one of the other villas told us the code for the gate! Apart from that, the villa is large, and well equipped, it is in a good location close to the beach and shops.
Dear Phil, thank you for your review - it is very important to improve the quality of our service. I am happy to tell that the problem with the tiles of the pool is resolved. About other your comments I was really disappoinded to read, because it is not true. I understand why you wrote such review and did it on the same day when I asked for the part of damage deposit.. Your group left the house with a lot of problems, I wrote you about damages and I didn't receive any compensation. Anyway I thank you for your stay and wish you good luck!
