Villa Blackrock is situated in an exclusive private gated estate of 49 villas which are accessed only by code. A CCTV security system is in operation at the entrance and throughout the development 24 hours a day. We are fully registered for letting with the Lanzarote authorities. Villa Blackrock has a beautiful pool and garden area which benefits from the sun all day long and is equipped and furnished to a very high standard. The detached villa is set in its own substantial grounds and is surrounded by raised lava walls ensuring complete privacy and shelter. The large private pool is electronically heated with a shallow end and steps ideal for children and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and mountain views. Patio doors from three bedrooms and the lounge open onto the tropical garden and pool area, which has an extended south facing terrace with an outdoor table tennis table. There is an adjacent picon garden with cacti, palm trees and tropical plants. Beech and wicker outdoor table and chairs make for wonderful al fresco dining. Villa Blackrock's four bedrooms and three bathrooms make the villa ideal for two families. Smart enabled 40" flat screen with all SKY Channels SKY movies,SKY Sports,Disney Channels,all BT Channels BBC 1, 2, ITV, Channel 4+5, RTE 1+2, Sky News + an extensive array of additional channels.There are also approx 1900 movies to chose from and approx 400 box sets available. IPod docking station, CD + DVD players. Playstation 2. WI-FI. The front garden has a driveway which comfortably accommodates four cars and is enclosed by gates. There is an outdoor table tennis table for children and the more energetic adults! The villa is ideally situated in Playa Blanca affording peace and quiet for a relaxing holiday yet only a 15/20 minute walk to the beach and restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the nearest shop and hotel which is open to non-residents. A taxi rank and bus stop are 500 metres away and the new Aqua Waterpark is only a 10 minute walk away.

We took some winter sun with all our family totaling 8 adults. The villa was spacious and had all that a home from home would need. The location was superb for a relaxing holiday. It is a 30 min walk (flat) to the main resort which had numerous good value bars and restaurants. We have stayed in many villa over the years (17 in Portugal) and this one compares to some of the best we have stayed in. We found Julie a pleasure to work with and she also gave us some very useful information about the resort. This was our first time in the canary island and we will definitely be back in the future, hopefully to this great villa again.

Villa Blackrock was the best accommodation for our party of 6 ladies. Lovely bedrooms and enough bathrooms to cater for us all, outside space was perfect and this was where we spent most of our time. The welcome pack was much appreciated and I would recommend this villa. Thank you Julie for all your help and advice it was much appreciated.

Few problems.when we arrived at the villa entrance you need a pass code to get through the gates the code we had been given was the wrong number luckily someone was coming out and let us in and gave us correct code. unfortunately we also had lots of cockroaches . Plus points villa very spacious and private. towels were changed and gardener came during our stay.playa blanca marina is beautiful and taxi very cheap

Owner's reply: Hi Sonia, Customer service is a priority for us, as such we provide three contact numbers including my own, eight weeks prior to arrival assuring you twenty four hour assistance for any eventuality. It was unfortunate that the code for the gate was changed and you did not receive that information. This is the first occasion on which this has happened. The code is regularly changed to ensure security for all guests staying at Villas Blancas and can be changed at short notice.The estate is fumigated annually but cockroaches unfortunately are unpredictable and can be present in such warm climates. It is of utmost importance that our guests experience the best possible holiday experience and this is reflected in the quality of our reviews. Kind regards. Julie.

“Fantastic Stay at Villa Black Rock”

Well we've been back nearly 2 weeks now and my head is still by the pool at Villa Black Rock. We had such a great time there. The villa is very clean and modern and a perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. The pool is immaculate and heated if required. Location wise it is in a gated complex around a 25 minute walk away from Playa Blanca which is easily doable, however there is a taxi rank just down the road @ 3 euros. We walked most of the time but taxi's were sometimes handy for the journey back after a few cocktails..... Julie & John (the owners) are a pleasure to deal with and provide you with plenty of useful information about the Villa and Playa Blanca. We did have an issue with the internet and pool heating whilst we were there but both were sorted within a matter of hours. We also had the pleasure of meeting next doors 3 legged cat as she greeted us with affectionate meow's every morning. My niece fell in love with her and we had to check the suitcases on departure just in case................ We will definitely return here in the near future as it's pretty much perfect. Book this villa you won't regret it.

We loved it at villa blackrock!!!fantastic size! Had everything we needed! Home from home!!! Great pool and outdoor space!!! Only negatives! The wi if wasn't working whilst we were there, we had a dongle provided but that also packed up' so we had a few grumpy children! Not being able to face time or message people!!!! Also there is no key to open the first twin bedrooms windows or patio door and this made it really hot at night even with the fan on also one of the bathrooms windows had no key! This didn't spoil the holiday at all but may be worth changing the locks so there are keys?? The management. Team were brilliant! Came and cleaned halfway through, the pool cleaner came about every 3 days!!! We walked up Montana Rioja behind the villa! Great views!!! We also went to the market at marina rubicon, Lanis restaurant is really nice but advisable to book in the evenings! Aqua park was good although I'd say it's aimed for younger children my 13 and 16 year old got a bit bored after a while , 7 year old loved it!!!! Dorada and flamingo beach are lovely but Papagayo beaches are a must see! Really beautiful! We hired a car in the second week to get about the island a bit more! It's about 15-20 min walk to playa Blanca harbour which is quite far for younger ones but the taxi rank isn't far and only a few euro to the harbour! Lots of lovely restaurants with sea views!!! Overall we loved it here! And will definitely return one day!!! Lovely quiet development with everything you need and help just at the end of the phone should you need it! The girls fell in love with the 3 legged cat that visited us and called her Amigo!!!! Would recommend this villa to anyone!! Really lovely!!! Thank you for a lovely stay!!!!!

Customer service is a priority for us and we have an excellent English management team who provide 24 hour assistance making sure all situations are dealt with promptly and efficiently, it is of utmost importance to us to ensure our guests have the best possible holiday experience.
