Villa Anika is ideal for families with kids, located in a very quite area on the slope of a mountain about 5 minutes drive to the beach. The town is only 2 km away; the connecting few kilometres of avenue provides a wide range of stores and the best local and international restaurants to suit everyone's taste (Italian, Chinese, Mexican, etc.).

The villa has a private electrically heated swimming pool which kids and adults can enjoy all the year round.

There are also large terraces with sea and mountain views along with a barbecue perfect for al fresco meals in the sunshine.

Inside the villa there are three bedrooms, a double bedroom ,a twin bedroom and the third bedroom with bunk beds.

The “Parque Nacional de Timanfaya” National Park is a must, transformed by the volcanic eruptions originating in 1730. It is without a pinch of doubt, of most spectacular and surreal beauty.

“Monumento al Campesino”: the world famous artist César Manrique´s master pieces laden with symbolic references.

“Castillo de San José” Castle: This old military fortress hosts the International Contemporanean Art Museum.
“Jardín de Cactus” garden: in this 5000m2 garden one can admire over 7200 different plants including more than 1100 different kinds of cacti from Peru, Mexico, Chile, United States, Morocco, Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar and the Canary Islands

“Jameos del Agua and the La Cueva de los Verdes cave”: subterranean volcanic tunnels formed by the lava flow from the eruption of the volcano, La Corona. Sightseeing La Cueva de los Verdes is like undertaking a magical journey to the centre of the earth with over 6km of tunnels and a sparkling blue lake in its centre.

Mirador del Río viewpoint: located in the north of the island, with breathtaking panoramic views, overlooks the Islands of La Graciosa, Alegranza and Montana Amarilla along with other minor islands.

Playa Blanca

Villa Anika is located in Playa Blanca town, the sunniest and most southerly resort, boasts many fine golden sandy beaches with placid waters and a beautiful promenade which extends from “Faro de Pechiguera” lighthouse to “Puerto de Marina Rubicón” harbor, and is lined with a whole range of cafes and wonderful restaurants to suit all tastes.

There are 2 harbours: “Playa Blanca” harbor which still retains the atmosphere of a once small fishing community and “Marina Rubicon” harbor where you can find luxurious yachts and the setting for water sports events such as transatlantic races, fishing competitions, regattas, surfing competitions, sailing courses, tennis courts, paddle courts, etc.

There is also a craft market held at the “Marina Rubicon” on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Here you can buy the usual range of leather goods, clothing and souvenirs.

The harbour is surrounded by a selection of luxury shops and exquisite restaurants.
Tranquil golden fine sandy beaches are provided by the “Playa Flamingo” and “Playa Dorada” resorts as well as the better known beaches of “Playas de Papagayo” where you can enjoy the sunlight, water sports or simply a stroll.

There are 4 “Playas de Papagayo” beaches and are located in a natural conservation area. These are unspoiled and undeveloped beaches with stunning coves, turquoise waters and fine golden sand.
