My home is a pretty semi-detached bungalow in a quiet situation at the back of Casas del Sol. There are lovely views out towards the sea with palm trees all around. Casas Del Sol is a very well maintained urbanisation - the gardens between all the houses are a delight. There is a good heated communal pool with sunbeds, umbrellas and a separate children's pool.
The tennis courts and the boule pitch are close by. CDS, which has a good car park, is ideally situated opposite the harbour with ferries to Fuerteventura. It is very close to the village with beaches in both directions. There are many restaurants and shops locally so a car is not necessary. 35b consists of two twin bedded bedrooms both with spacious fitted wardrobes and plenty of coat hangers. Sheets and towels are provided and changed weekly when the bungalow is cleaned. There are two well appointed shower rooms, one of which is en-suite.
There is a pleasant living room with a dining area overlooking the patio. The kitchen is off this room and is very well equipped. We have a TV showing british channels, a CD Player and Wi-Fi is available. Air Conditioning is provided in the Living Room and one Bedroom. The other Bedroom has an effective fan. Outside is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine - a large patio including a shaded area for al-fresco dining. There are tables and chairs and a bbq and a small interesting cactus garden. If you need a peaceful holiday in lovely surroundings then come and try 35b!

The Canary Islands region
Lanzarote is the most easterly of the Canary Islands and lies in the Atlantic Ocean only 60 miles from Africa. The landscape is dominated by volcanoes and the architects have worked hard to maintain the authenticity of the island as it has developed. There are several tastefully established tourist spots - El Mirador in the north along with the green caves and Jameos del Agua, La Geria which is the wine growing area. Also the Cactus Garden and the great beach at Famara - wind surfing is a popular sport and hang gliding and cycling.
There is a big market at Teguise every Sunday. Or you can sail across to Fuerteventura for the day. The harbour is just across the road from CDS.
Playa Blanca is on the South Coast with beaches of it's own and the golden sands of Papagayo are nearby. It was a small fishing village but has spread out along an attractive promenade with the lighthouse at one end and Marina Rubicon at the other. There is a market at the marina on Wednesday and Saturday. If you have a car there is plenty to do without travelling far. The capital Arrecife is interesting and pleasant to visit. Puerto Del Carmen is the largest resort and that is the place if you like plenty of people and activity. There is a good bus service from Playa Blanca to these resorts.
Timanfaya National Park is a must where the scenery is quite breathtaking- you can also ride on a camel!
So lots to do or just take it easy on the patio at 35b Casas del Sol

"Another Fabulous Holiday"
We have just returned after a fabulous 16 night stay in 35B. Again it was wonderful, and we could not fault anything. We again had a car for the duration and visited some of our favourite places including El Golfo, Mirador Del Rio, Puerto Calero. Our daughter did not join us this year, but with the wonderful world of face time, we were able to speak and see her daily because of the Wifi access. John, thankyou also for letting our friend stay for a couple of days during our stay, she did not want to leave!!

"Perfect location to relax"
What a wonderfully peaceful, quiet and very relaxing place for a holiday. The bungalow is exactly as pictured, very homely and comfortable with everything you might need. One of the best things about this bungalow is it's location. It was tucked away at the end of a pathway so no-one walks past or overlooks the property. There is plenty of outdoor space to relax either in or out of the sun and the only sound to be heard, apart from the odd distant ferry horn, is the wind in the palm trees. It may sound miles from anywhere but it's quite the opposite; 5 minutes walk and you're amongst the bars and restaurants. Perfection location.
