“A lovely villa in a quiet but convenient location exactly as described.”
We've just returned from a week at a Villa Brisa. The villa is in a great location, quite but only a 15 minute leisurely walk to the Marina Rubicon and less to the Playa Papagyo beaches. It is very comfortable and well equipped with the added bonus of a heated pool. Dave was very helpful in the booking (which was very last minute!) and providing information.
“Lovely villa in a good location”
We spend a week at the villa, it was well furnished, comfortable and met all our needs. Only a 10/15 minute walk to Port Rubcion, which was great for evening meals. The pool was warm and a lovely place to relax after a day out. We enjoyed the villa and Playa Blanca so much we are thinking of returing over Christmas!
“Lovely Villa in an excellent location!”
This 3 bedroom villa is spacious, modern and in a great location! 15 minute walk along a picturesque costal path and you are in the Rubicon Marina. An up market marina with nice boutique shops and some amazing restaurants. An extra 5 minutes walk and come come to a lovely beach which is in a bay and great for swimming in. We stayed in the villa for 2 weeks and couldn't fault it. The outside living area is fantastic. Heated swimming pool (which really is heated) sun loungers, table and chairs. The living/dining/kitchen area have all you need. We cooked in the kitchen every other day and had all the utensils etc that you would need. From the front door of the property to the supermarket to the left is less than a 5 minute walk, very close. The supermarket is great and reasonable. Lots of fresh meats and vegetables. Dealing with the property owners was very easy and answered all questions thrown at them. They were also very accommodating and let us stay in the villa until we needed to leave for our flight. Great holiday, wish we could have stayed longer. I'd highly recommend this villa!
“LOVELY VILLA, GREAT HOLIDAY”
We have just returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Barisa. The villa had great views and was ideally situated close to local amenities including a well stock supermarket, taxi rank and bus route. Inside the villa itself, the interior was immaculate; the decor was stylish and modern, with spacious bedrooms and 2 good sized bathrooms. Outside the awning provided much needed shade from the heat. Great having our own pool and this was cleaned regularly throughout our stay. All in all, our stay was fantastic; we had 2 lovely weeks at the villa. It was a relaxing experience; in a quiet idyllic area, yet only a short walk away from the Marina and Playa Blanca which hosted lots of lovely restaurants and chill out areas. I would thoroughly recommend Villa Barisa.
“Fabulous villa and the pool was bliss”
We had a fabulous relaxing 9 night holiday. The villa was great, very well furnished with a fabulous ceiling fan in the main bedroom which was much appreciated in the heat. The pool was bliss, very clean, refreshing but without the cold shock. Our little boy had a great time jumping in and swimming around everyday. The area was very peaceful and the view from the villa of the hills/mountains and sea was lovely. We didn't hire a car, we walked, used the bus and taxis. We felt that the villa was perfectly positioned with access to some very good local amenities - a supermarket a minute walk away and another very well stocked supermarket at a nearby complex where there was also a good childrens play area and cafes. It was also not too far to walk to the Marina along the promenade or over the headland to the Papagayo beach. It was a great holiday as my friend lives in Lanzarote and we had been invited to her wedding, so we had a celebration to enjoy with her and some old school friends who'd also come over. It was good fun meeting up for barbecues at our villas and meals at the restaurants in the Marina and Playa Blanca. The English speaking housekeeping service were very helpful and were able to arrange for us to have a late checkout as we had an evening flight, so we had a great last day chilling in the pool before flying home.
“Fabulous location, great views, lovely villa!”
We had 2 lovely weeks at the villa. The villa had great views towards the Papagayo beaches and the surrounding area. The villa was better than described, fulfilling all our needs throughout the stay. It was ideally situated close to local ammenities including a local supermarket, taxi rank, and bus route which took us via the classy marina Rubicon into the heart of the vibrant playa blanca in less than 5 minutes. A 10 minute walk over the headlands in the other direction and we reached the remote, beautiful papagayo beaches. Inside the villa itself, the interior was immaculate, the decor was stylish and modern, with spacious bedrooms and 2 good sized, clean bathrooms. Outside, the patio was large, with a retractable blind providing much needed shade from the baking heat. The Pool was cleaned regularly throughout our stay. All in all, our stay was a fantastic relaxing experience; a great villa, a quiet idyllic area, yet only a stonesthrow away from the bustling Playa Blanca. Having stayed elsewhere in Lanzarote I can genuinly recommend the property and area over all others.
“A fabulous villa in a great location.”
I have just returned from a wonderful family holiday in Lanzarote. This was my first visit to Brisa Marina Villa with my husband and two boys aged 15 and 12 years. The villa was excellent - clean, modern and well maintained. The villa includes all mod cons with a lovely private pool. The location was excellent, in a quiet area but still easily accessible to the local supermarket, Playa Blanca, Marina Rubicon and the beautiful Papagayo beaches on foot. We did not hire a car and managed to get around no problem on foot, by the cheap taxi service and local buses. The views from the villa are stunning. The owner was extremely helpful and efficient to deal with during the booking process and in the run up to the holiday.
“A relaxing stay in a convenient location”
We spent a very relaxing week in April at the Villa Brisa. The owner was extremely helpful prior to our departure giving us all the information we required. The villa was situated in a quiet area with a sea view from the upstairs balcony and a small, well heated pool. Access to the property and the key pick up was very straightforward. A good size supermarket offering fresh bread, meat and fruit/vegetables was only two minutes walk from the villa. Excellent service from the local Felycar car hire office by the supermarket. We enjoyed our meals at Lanni's restaurant, recommended by the owner and the local tapas at the Taberna, both at Marina Rubicon. Also many other restaurants with fresh fish at the Marina (about 20mins walk from the villa). The Rubicon Diving Centre at the Marina was excellent for anybody interested in diving.
“Relaxing holiday in well-kept, comfortable villa with good local facilities”
I have just come back from a great week's holiday at villa Brisa Marina with my husband and 3 children (aged 10,12 and 14), this being the tthird year on the run we have been to this villa. The villa itself is well-maintained and comfortable with everything you need. It has a small but nicely heated pool which the kids love as it is warm enough to use even in cloudy weather. Previous pools we have had on Easter breaks elsewhere have been freezing!! The villa is also in a good location, close enough to walk to the beautiful Papagayo beaches which we did one day and about a 30 minutes stroll round the pedestrianised cliff top to Playa Dorada, the lovely golden beach in the centre of playa Blanca. For the eveings there is Marina Rubicon (15 min walk away) with great restaurants to suit families and couples - some family ones like Lani's, others more upmarket and more epensive, or Playa Blanca itself with all types of resaurants or in the opposite direction you have El Pueblo with an Irish bar showing all the sports, which my kids loved. There is also a well stocked supermarket just a couple of minutes walk from the villa. so although we had a car for the week, you do not necessarily need one as there is so much within walking distance. The weather was a mix of sun and cloud and was windier than we have known before but we still all came back with a great sun tan and even in the evenings all you needed was cardigan or sweatshirt. We would definitely recommend Brisa Marina and Playa Blanca for a holiday.
“A lovely villa in a fantastic area, would definitely recommend”
Just got back from a very relaxing and sunny (if somewhat windy) two weeks. The first couple of days the wind was a bit chilly and the evenings were too (as we expected) but after that we had wall to wall sunshine and some days so hot we had to go indoors. The only day we had a bit of rain and dark clouds was the morning we left so we timed it just right!! The booking process was made very easy for us and every question we had was answered fully and quickly by Dave. The villa was very nice, exactly as described. We enjoyed breakfasts and lunches outside most days and we had a lovely time splashing around in the pool. The supermarket just up the road was great, we could get everything we needed there including lovely pate, cheese and bread for our lunches and plenty of good (but very cheap) wine. We were very impressed with the Las Coloradas area and the Rubicon Marina was particuarly lovely and very classy, with lots of really good restaurants. We also went into Playa Blanca a few times and the coastal path was a lovely walk. We would be happy to recommend the villa and the area - we hope to return very soon.
