Situated very close to Plaidy beach and the sea (just 100 yards) the apartment is ideally positioned to make the most of the beautiful coastline. Looe itself is just a 5 minute drive and there is a pub and some local shops including a newsagent less than 10 minutes walk away.

The lounge is freshly decorated with completely new furniture, tasteful soft furnishings and contemporary artwork. Equipped with an LCD TV and DVD player for your entertainment. The ideal spot to relax and unwind in after a hard days sightseeing, beach walking or even shark fishing!! There is so much to do in and around Looe you can quite easily wear yourself out!

The South West Coastal path (5 minutes stroll away) runs through Looe (it takes about 20 minutes in total to walk to Looe from the apartment) with stunning coastal walks toward the picturesque harbour village of Polperro. The Eden Project is just 30 minutes by car as is The Lost Gardens of Heligan and numerous other attractions more details of which can be found on our website.

The fully equipped kitchen makes self catering a pleasure - you can create your own culinary masterpieces together and then enjoy a romantic dinner for two - candlelight, soft music, stunning views and each other! The dishwasher will ensure there are no arguments over the washing up too!!

The luxury ensuite shower room is finished to the same high specification - very stylish, contemporary and attractive - towels are provided for your convenience (but please bring your own beach towels).

“Caveat Emptor!”

This is a very nice, modern and tastefully decorated property. It's strongest point by far, is the fantastic vista of the bay, headland and sea which can be seen from the two corner windows in the dining area. A more restricted but also very nice sea view is available from the small balcony accessed through the bedroom. It's second strongest point is the location itself which is in a quiet, residential (but very hilly) outskirt of Looe. The "buyer beware" above though, refers to the fact that there are fifty steps up from road level to the dining area. There are also steep steps inside the property from the entrance door/downstairs bedroom, up to the dining/living area and kitchen. Also, the car parking space is very steeply sloped, difficult to access and has a very odd surface which car tyres will not grip! This is therefore absolutely not a property for anyone with mobility issues - and it is a major omission that neither the external steps, nor the fact that the property is on two levels, is mentioned in the information presented at the time of booking. The downside to this rental, is that management of the property on behalf of the owners is not particularly effective - the kettle leaked all over the work surface, the freezer was so full of ice that it would not shut and began defrosting itself all over the floor and the advertised hair dryer was nowhere to be found - minor inconveniences, but easily avoidable - and they should have been avoided! Overall though, despite the above drawbacks, this is a very nice property with lots of positives that outweigh the disadvantages above.
