Quiet location, ideal for families, 5 minutes walk to new Shopping Complex which has Supermarket, Restaurant which does takeaway Pizza and various other shops. It is 15 minutes walk to Town Centre and 20 minutes to beach. Shops, Restaurants and Bars nearby. FINAL CLEAN BY LOCAL MANAGEMENT COMPANY. FREE PERMANENT WI-FI. Fully equipped fitted Kitchen with ceramic hob and microwave and separate convection ovens and front loading washing machine. Breathtaking sea views and private Roof Terrace and Balcony for outdoor living. Family friendly.

Getting around

Train travel is very reasonably priced also tuk tuks in the Town Square which do tours of the town and also are a taxi service. We have the phone number of a local taxi service which we use ourselves whilst staying in Pizzo. He can take you on day trips and to and from the airport. It is handy to have a car to visit all the local resorts but as advised taxi service and tuk tuk available.

We have a local Management Company from whom you would uplift the keys to the apartment and the security fob. They are available at all times should you need any help or information regarding the apartment.

I stayed this apartment in with my family. Excellent apartment in very good condition and fully equipped. You not need to take there nothing.. The pool is nice also and very clean. Very kind owners, and exelent service from Calabrian property services, Amazing view to the see, . The City itself is nice but also a good location to discover the area. The local beach not the best but from here you can reach the nicest beach in 15-20 min drive. Good restaurant and fantastic sweet places and the ice cream is just out of any word. We have here great time, and we like to come back. Only negative what i can say we dont have an internet and only in the city center we find but also in bad signal strength. But we can live without it in the holiday ..

Me and my fiancé absolutely loved our holiday. The apartment has everything you need. Mod cons etc. The property management company stocked the fridge with some essentials which was a nice welcome after travelling. The apartment is walking distance from the beaches and centre although we drove on many occasions. There are amazing views from the roof terrace of Pizzo's coastline. The sun rises behind the property and sets over the sea. This means you get the sun all day on the roof terrace and the swimming pool. There are beaches in Pizzo and a huge coastline of beaches north of the town. We went in October and the weather was between 30-40C. Pizzo is a little town with beautiful rustic buildings. Dining is very cheap compared to English prices. 2-course meal of pasta or pizza and a litre of local wine costs no more than 20 Euros. There are loads of little restaurants serving Pizza and Pasta and some small rustic restaurants serving local specialties such as Grilled local fish, Swordfish pasta, etc. Near by is a beautiful town called Tropea. It’s about 25 mins in the car. This is definitely worth a visit, you can also take a boat trip to Stomboli which is an active volcano near by in the middle of the Sea. You will need a car rental so you can vist local areas, I recommend paying for the extra insurance so you don’t have an excess to pay if you have an accident. This is because the locals do not know how to drive and the windy roads are very small in Pizzo and Tropea. Anyone wanting to avoid commercial tourism and have a relaxing holiday with nice food, friendly people, see truly what Italy is and experience the Italian culture then visit Pizzo. The apartment was perfect. Thanks June and Eddie for letting the property, we will definitely be back.

“Loved this place!”

My fiance and I stayed at this place for a week, and we loved it so much we finally extended to a second week. It has an amazing huge huge terrace, the size of the apartment (on the rooftop) and it has a great little balcony next to the kitchen where we ate every night. You can see the gorgeous sunset from the apartment, so it is such a pleasure after a full day of running around outside and going to the beach, to come back and have a cocktail in the rooftop and then have dinner on the balcony. Really really lovely. We fell in love with the kitchen,. The owner has though of everything and really wants the guests ti have a great time. Great kitchen utensils, pots and pans. (so this was a pleasure to make our dinners) and also the water pressure and water were working great. Everything is brand new so it is such a pleasure because it feels so clean and very user friendly. The owner even thought about making a black curtain to keep the light out so one person can go to the balcony while not disturbing the other who may still be sleeping in the morning. Also had lovely hammocks on the rooftop. Definitely, this has been adopted as my new getaway place for when I need a beach. The grocery stores are all close by and also some great fish shops. The owner had reccomended me to get a car, and thankfully we did, since it was much more fun to zip around to see different beaches and shop in different places. I will definitely go back!!! thanks for such a lovely and memorable stay!!! (by the way anyone reading this, I travel all the time and very very extremely picky about where I stay. For work I stay in 5 star hotels, and really cringe at shabby places. And this one was really super enjoyable.) also very quiet at night so I really caught up on sleep.
