Set in a quiet location with a private, well maintained garden and a large terrace with amazing panoramic views. Many beaches are very close by, the nearest one only 5 minutes walk away. The sea is crystal clear, and all the beaches have clean white sand. A house that has been in the same family since it was built over 30 years ago. This is a very private residence in a quiet lane, not part of a complex or residence. Linen and towels are all included in the pricing.
The house is an ideal spot from which to explore the island, which has amazing beaches, lovely countryside and mountains and many sites of archaeological interest.
Olbia is a lively city with many facilities, while the famous Costa Smeralda is close by.
You can also get to Corsica by ferry from Golfo Aranci (10 mins drive away).
There are plenty of local trekking, horseback riding, tennis, beach volley, diving, windsurfing and kite sailing services available. Boat hire is also available in local marinas.

The Sardinia region
Sardinia is a beautiful Italian island. Its highlights include exceptional seafood restaurants, amazing beaches with clear sea to the remarkable prehistoric Carthaginian and Roman monuments with authentic fishing villages. There are also many bars, clubs, shops, restaurants and resorts for all budgets and a wide array of outdoor pursuits on offer from walking and climbing to water sports and tennis.
By car is the best way to travel around the island and enjoy the superb food and wine. Alternatively just unwind on the multitude of white sandy beaches and swim in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea.
From turquoise water, pristine beaches, untouched nature and stunning architecture, to luxurious hotels, health spas, designer boutiques, world-class restaurants and exciting nightlife, the Costa Smeralda has it all.
Much care has been taken to preserve the natural environment of the Porto Rotondo area, and international investors have made this area one of the most sought after destinations. Porto Rotondo is today the sworn rival of the, relatively close, Emerald Coast, attracting many of the international Jet Set. The Piazzetta, created entirely in local stone, the granite amphitheatre, and the Church of St Lorenzo are also of architectural interest.
You will find boutiques of the world's top fashion designers. The harbour, where some of the most beautiful yachts of the Mediterranean are moored, is not to be missed, if only to remind you how much money you don't have!
The beaches of Porto Rotondo include that of Spiaggia Ira, at Punta Nuraghe, which divides the Gulf of Porto Rotondo from that of Cugnana; the small beaches of Punta Asfodelo with their supremely white sand and turquoise sea; the beach Spiaggia dei Sassi e delle Alghe', on the road which leads to Punta Volpe; Marinella Beach which is the largest and best equipped, is perfect for water sport enthusiasts.
The village has 3 beaches with very nice clear water. There are many local facilities such as restaurants, bars, small shops, a small supermarket, fish shop and butcher. All within walking distance of the house in 10 minutes.
