- Very Good
Excellent holiday flat with everything you need and great location. Even milk in fridge for arrival and lovely toiletries in bathroom and ensuite
“Lovely cottage, so well thought through for visitors.”
Visited Crail and Anstruther, lovely little shops and cute coffee shop in Crail. Lovely meal at The Dreel. Nice walks. Very relaxing. Pittenweem lovely but not good for eating. Only one pub/restaurant which was fine and friendly. Went to another pub which was vile and unfriendly. The Chocolate shop good.
Owner's reply: Thank you for your review and we are so glad you enjoyed your visit to Pittenweem and the East Neuk.
“great flat interesting fishing village”
great flat, v comfortable, all possible mod cons, sky sports kept husband happy while I shopped in St Andrews, owner v friendly and helpful.Lovely views.
“Ideal coastal holiday location”
We enjoyed a four night stay in this welcoming flat. All the amenities needed are provided for a comfortable and restful break in this lovely part of Fife.It is well located for making trips to St Andrews and having an allocated parking space is a real bonus. Good south facing sea views across the Firth of Forth and within easy walking distance of the working Harbour. A perfect holiday in this popular coastal area.
“Another great time at Abbeywall Road”
This is a great apartment to stay at. The flat has everything you need. Great location for visiting surrounding areas. Well worth a stay.
“FANTASTIC HOLIDAY FLAT - HOME FROM HOME !”
Abbeywall is a perfect holiday flat, totally home from home with every comfort. Really trouble free from the time of booking. Wonderful friendly welcome from Jeni. Fantastic views! The fact that we have stayed here probably 7 times in recent years I think speaks for itself. Hope to be back again before long.
“Fantastic accomodation, relaxing and beautifully situated with stunning views”
We travelled with two young children and a dog. The flat is immaculate with all mod cons, including wifi and sky tv (with the movies package - which is great for the kids). The livingroom has patio windows which have the most fantastic view over the forth - nice to relax with a cuppa and watch the boats coming and going from the harbour! The flat is well situated within Pittenweem to enjoy the little town or walk along the coastal path into Anstruther (allow a good hour when walking with young kids!!) or 15 minutes in the car to St. Andrews. Jeni the owner lives nearby, a lovely lady with lots of local knowledge. We visited The Secret Bunker near Anstruther, The Scottish Deer Farm (pricey for food), the fabulous Cairnie Fruit Farm in Cupar is a must with the kids especially in the summer with the Mega Maize, cinema in St Andrews and ice cream at the Fish and Chip shop in Anstruther is a must (as are the fish suppers).
