Description

Sea Glint is a delightful self catering cottage near the sea front in the quiet fishing village of Pittenweem. The house is a Listed 18th Century cottage restored in 2006 to a high standard. Close to the harbour, Sea Glint benefits from a pleasant and sheltered courtyard. If you're looking for a restful coastal break in Fife, self catering at Sea Glint will provide a comfortable and relaxing environment moments from the sea. The cottage has recently won a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2014.

Accommodation is on three floors with living room, one double bedroom, two single bedrooms, kitchen dining room, bathroom and second WC. The top floor has been converted to a bright and spacious open plan lounge. From the kitchen door you can see the Bass Rock. The sheltered courtyard provides a quiet place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the sea and the gulls.

Sea Glint has great appeal and charm, is ideal for short breaks or longer stays throughout the year and is suitable for couples or a small family. Its interior has genuine character and comfort with tasteful furnishings in a traditional style.

As some of our guests have allergies, we regret we cannot accept dogs or permit smoking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alan (the owner) a message.

If Alan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
