From the owner

A quite, private, waterfront residence in the lower Florida Keys, the American Caribbean. Decorated in Nautical and Tropical décor. Undeveloped property on one side and across the canal.

On a boating canal with dockage for your boat, Free launching at the nearby marina and space for your boat trailer.

Just 5 minutes at idle speed to open water.

For children (and artistic adults) free lobster floats and paint are provided. You can express yourself or just enjoy a relaxing activity. You may sign the floats and hang them to make history or take them home with you as souvenirs.

If you don’t bring a boat, I recommend a reliable local rental company that gives my guests a discount.

MASTER BEDROOM; “Captains Quarters”

1 queen bed, a dresser, a chest, a small desk and large closet. Tropically decorated.

SECOND BEDROOM; “Crews Quarters”

2 twin beds, night stand and chest, closet. Nautically decorated.

Bed Linens are supplied for both bedrooms with a second set for changes.

MAIN BATH; “Crews Head” Full bath. Separate shower and tub.Iinitial soap and tissue supplied for both baths. Hair Drier.

SECOND BATH; Half bath “Captains Head” off the Captains Quarters. All linens, Beach and bath towels supplied.

KITCHEN; “Galley” Start up scrubber pad, dishwasher detergent, and dish soap and paper towels supplied.

Kitchen has a dishwasher, range, microwave, refrigerator w/ ice maker, toaster, coffee maker, blender, mixer, dishes, pots and pans, utensils and flatware.

LIVING ROOM; “Recreation Lounge” Love seat and sofa, cocktail table, flat panel T V, D V D player, end tables, lamps and curio cabinets.

DINING AREA; “Mess Deck” Table with 4 chairs.

LAUNDRY; Washer and dryer. Start up detergent supplied.

SCREENED PORCH “Bridge” and the SUN DECK “Weather deck”; Overlook the canal.

SEAWALL; 50-foot long on a 30-foot wide, 9-foot deep canal, easily accommodating a 25-foot boat. Dock bumper for hull protection, ¼ mile from open water, 5 minutes at idle speed. Fish cleaning station. Bait freezer.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ron (the owner) a message.

If Ron (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
