Superb 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached villa with private pool & large garden situated near the beach and all amenities in the idyllic resort of Mil Palmeras which has one of the best beaches on Spain's south Costa Blanca..The property offers privacy in nice, comfortable surroundings and is ideal for couples or families who prefer a quiet, relaxing holiday in the sun!
The villa enjoys 120m2 of living space on a large 1300m2 plot, and sleeps 6 people. The property has an impressive 60m2 open plan lounge with 2 sofas, coffee table, dining area with dresser, table and 6 chairs, a modern fully equipped kitchen with a 3m long breakfast bar and bar stools. There is a metered air-con system in the lounge which cools the villa throughout.

For your entertainment the villa is kitted out with UK sat tv, dvd player, free WIFI internet, bar football table plus a selection of films, radio/cd stereo system, and some children's games. The large sliding patio doors in the lounge lead out to the spacious south facing landscaped garden area that includes an 8m x 4m private pool, outdoor shower, terrace with sunloungers, garden furniture, bbq, table-tennis, fruit trees, palm trees, views to the sea and garage parking for 2 cars. There are various inflatables and body boards available for the kids to enjoy in the pool.
For familes with babies a free travel cot is provided and any other baby equipment can be hired if requested.
The villa offers you privacy and tranquility in an idyllic setting just 450m from the beach, bars and restaurants. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday!!

The resort of Mil Palmeras is situated on the southern tip of the Costa Blanca, just off the AP7 motorway and has one of the warmest climates in Spain enjoying around 300 days of sunshine every year.
It's very popular with spanish holidaymakers but remains a bit of a hidden gem to other nationalities looking for somewhere different and not too comercialised.
Mil Palmeras has one of the best beaches in the region, an array of bars, cafes and restaurants on the main strip offering a good variety of international cuisine plus a new eat as much as you like Wok Buffet for 10€ which is proving very popular. There is a weekly market every sunday throughout the year which is ideal for cheap, fresh local produce and a nightly artesan market on the promenade during the summer.
There are many local attractions and activities including natural mud-baths, boat trips, a waterpark, fairground, outdoor cinema, bowling alley, paintballing, quad-biking, horse-riding, go-karting, crazy golf, tennis, scuba diving, wind-surfing and jet-skiing. For golfers you are ideally situated to as many as 12 local golf courses.
Mil Palmeras is just 15 minutes drive from Murcia airport, 45 minutes from Alicante Airport and 5 minutes to the impressive new Zenia Boulevard Shopping Centre which has over 150 stores including Primark and Laura Ashley.
A car is not essential as all amenities like the beach, bars, restaurants, supermarket, chemist, medical centre, bank, football pitches, tennis courts and bus-stop are within 10 minutes walk of the villa. Cheap airport transfers, shopping trips, golf trips and excursions can be arranged if required.

Clean bed linen, tea towels, hand & bath towels are provided for your stay but we do not supply beach towels.
Smoking is permitted but in the outside areas only.
No single sex groups allowed. If more people are staying in the villa than previously advised when booking then a supplement will be charged.
For health and safety the swimming pool is cleaned and treated weekly by a specialist pool cleaning company.

CHEAP AIRPORT TRANSFERS AND LOCAL TRIPS CAN BE ARRANGED.If you require airport transfers the fares are as follows and paid locally to the driver: Alicante is 140€ return for 1-4 people, 160€ return for 5 people and 180€ return for 6 people. Murcia is 60€ return for 1-4 people, 80€ return fpr 5 people and 100€ return for 6 people. Free childseats are supplied if needed.

The Valencian Country region

This is a traditional Spanish area with unspoilt blue flag sandy beaches and coves to explore. The nature park, salt lakes and nature reserve at San Pedro del Pinatar and fishing villages of San Pedro and El Pilar are nearby. The cultural towns of Murcia, Cartagena and Torrevieja are ideal for tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants.

Just a short drive south of Mil Palmeras is the Mar Menor where the sea is shallow and 5 degrees warmer than the Med, being ideal for children. The mineral rich waters of the Mar Menor have a saline content of 50% and are scientifically recognised as being therapeutic in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments. The mud is also believed by many to contain natural healing properties, particularly for skin complaints and many visitors and locals can be found having a mudbath to treat their ailments.

San Pedro del Pinatar is one of the main tourist destinations along this stretch of coast and the beach area of Lo Pagan offers many sea front bars and restaurants. The town has a marina that provides fishing, scuba diving and sailing opportunities. San Pedro also boasts the Salt Works Nature Reserve, which is a unique Mediterranean coastal area. This is a great area for walking and bird watching as flamingos and other migratory birds nest here every year and use the reserve as a stopping place in their migrations between Europe and Africa. Nearby Torrevieja has great shopping and the old cities of Murcia and Cartagena are well worth a visit for their wonderful architecture, particularly Murcia with its University and Baroque cathedral.

was a very relaxing holiday, plenty of things to do. Greg was very helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had a good holiday. beautiful villa with everything you need for your holiday. all amenities within walking distance

“Much nicer villa than expected”

We wanted a relaxing time in a villa with a pool within walking distance of the beach and this is exactly what we got. The villa was better than we anticipated from the photos, the outside area was large and private. It had everything we needed and was very clean. Lots of sun loungers and 3 different areas to relax outside with a choice of being in full sun or the shade. Table tennis table was fun and the pool was refreshing. The local supermarket and town with a lovely beach was within 10-15 minutes walk and there were plenty of places to eat, though very few shops. We went at the end of May and the town was fairly quiet, but it was starting to get busier at the end of our week so it was quite nice being a short distance out of the town centre.

everything we expected pool lovely and clean villa clean and modern the use of sky tv and wifi was a bonus lots of sun lounges and towels also shower outside lovely village not over commercialised people friendly and helpful no need for a rental car owners very helpful and arranged the taxi from the airport bond sent back within a couple of days all my children enjoyed the stay lovely beach just 10 mins down the road will be renting the villa again as soon as we can

hire car never moved from Villa Marina, why would it? over an acre to unwind in & if the going gets hot, just drop in the pool (after using the outside shower of course.) Marina & Darryl most helpful & amenable. bbq best we've used so be aware that lazy nights in sampling the 1000 palm tree atmosphere will happen. if you want it livelier you can head for the strip. villa marina, enjoy!
