Property owner could not do enough to make us feel welcome in the village. A truly memorable stay in a very special Italian village.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review, we are really glad that you appreciated your three-month-stay in our house and village. It was a pleasure to host you . Best regards

Excellent appartement de vacances, calme et confortable, qui offre de nombreuses possibilités de promenade. Très jolie terrasse arborée. Village très agréable. Hôtes très accueillants.

“A week wasnt long enough”

the location of the gite is beautiful with views of the surrounding mountains covered in olive trees. We thoroughly enjoyed Pietra Bruna, a truely romantic village. The gite was comfortable and basic but the mosquitos were horrible. The limencello was delicious and the family were very helpful. The local beaches are not as beautiful as we had hoped but we found the local fresh water pools which were like paradise and the weather was perfect and many a relaxing evening was spent on the terrace with a glass of wine in hand.

Owner's reply: Dear Pippa, Thank you for your review. I am sorry about the mosquitoes but I am glad that you had a good time in our village. Kind regards Fulvia

“Simple pleasures in Liguria”

The house was beautiful and very well looked after. The wine and home grown produce tasted amazing. We enjoyed cooking and eating on the terrace as the sun went down over the hills. Not far to beaches and ice cream. A day trip to Imperia is easy and interesting. The local shop is very well stocked and not expensive and we really enjoyed the restaurant. We were lucky enough to be in Pietrabruna during the Festival. We enjoyed local walks and views of the sea. Once we were used to the 9 km up to the house it was an amazing experience in a unique village where we felt at home and were made very welcome

“Silent, natural and comfortable vacation”

Pietrabruna is the small old town. The population is only about 350 people. The house is situated in old city like these that we often see at excursions. But it is not the monument of the past, but the real living place. City is surrounded by olive plantations. You can walk by the road between olives and you will not see almost any person. There is a shop and two restaurants in the old city. You can drive 9 km down and find a nice beach in San Lorenzo al Mare. Also we visited Imperia, Sanremo, Monaco, Nice, and Genova. I will not recommend this place, because I’m afraid it may be occupied when I’m going to came again. 
