From the owner

Annamaria is a truly unique property, part of the palatial residence of a noble family. Architecturally stunning, the traditional exterior of the grand property is in stark contrast to the contemporary interior of this loft space. A fabulous blend of the old and the best of the new.

Arriving at Annamaria, you will walk through a garden filled with orange trees, filling the air with gorgeous scent. You are welcome to dine here, or simply to relax.

The loft apartment is on the top floor. On entering, you will be struck by the creative use of the space before you. The angled wooden beamed ceilings are whitewashed, giving a dramatic and airy feel as they sweep upwards overhead. The apartment is decorated with an unerring sense of style, with strong design principles applied throughout.

The main living area has a bright red sofa bed, comfortable modern chairs, a flat screen satellite television and dining table. There is an internet Wifi connection, air conditioning and central heating.

From here, a few steps lead you onto your large private terrace, with a table and chairs, deckchairs and amazing panoramic views of the Gulf of Sorrento, the islands of Ischia and Procida.

Moving into the kitchen, with blue-gloss fridge freezer and units, you will continue to appreciate the sense of style in Annamaria. You will find everything you need if you choose to self-cater during your stay including a four burner gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and coffee maker.

The double bedroom has bright linen contrasting with the crisp white walls. There is a chest of drawers and wardrobes giving plenty of storage space.

The second bedroom is decorated in primary colours and has a brilliant expandable bunk bed. This can be used as a single bed, or a mechanism used to create bunk beds for two.

The two bathrooms are furnished to a high specification. The first has an enclosed rainfall shower, wash basin, toilet and bidet, plus a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also a hairdryer for use in the apartment. The second has fantastic skylights and a large shower enclosure with hydro-shower, plus wash basin, toilet and bidet.

The town of Piano di Sorrento is set on a plain amidst stunning scenery, with the white walls and red roofs of the buildings contrasting with the green hillsides rising all around. There is a grocery and other shops within easy reach of the apartment and the 17th century church Santissima Trinità is just a 100m walk away.

A parking space is available for the use of guests of Annamaria. Alternatively public transport links are good, with a nearby bus stop. The Circumvesuviana train station is just 1 km away, and once you are in Sorrento (4km away) it is easy to get a ferry to the islands from the port.

Annamaria is a fantastic apartment, with everything you will need for a stylish holiday in this stunning part of the world.

How do damage deposits work?
