Location description from owner

The French Riviera - Cote d'Azur region

The cottage is situated about 2.5k from Peymeinade, a small town with excellent shops, supermarket, market and a couple of restaurants, large open air pool and tennis courts. There is a very pleasant walk, about 20 minutes down to the village from the cottage. It is about 7k west of Grasse, an interesting town renowned for its perfumeries. There are many world class museums and art galleries at St Paul de Vence, Antibes and Nice. The coast is about 20k and Lac de Saint Cassien about 12k is excellent for watersports. The property is excellently located for visiting some of the lovely old hilltop villages such as Cabris and Spéracèdes and yet the lively contrast of Cannes and the Côte d'Azur is within about 20 minutes' drive.
