FANTASTIC OCEANSIDE VIEWS!

Accurate Rates are below and in CAN dollars. Trip Advisor consistently displays the wrong rates and includes their Booking /Service Fee.

The Shorelark by the Sea NESTS ( Upper & Lower) are each 2 person max. $150(CAN) a night ($300 for the 2 night minimum) PLUS a $50 departure housekeeping fee (depending on length of stay) and .15% HST (Sales Tax).

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU CHOOSE TO BOOK THROUGH THIRD PARTY LISTING SITES, SUCH TRIPADVISOR / FLIPKEY ETC... THEY WILL TACK ON A BOOKING/SERVICE FEE .

SHORELARK BY THE SEA NESTS offers two gorgeous 1-bedroom units (The Upper and Lower Nests) and we also have one 2-bedroom unit (The Guest House) in 2 locations of the charming fishing village of Petty Harbour, a scenic 15 minute drive from downtown St. John's (30 mins. from the international airport).

THE SHORELARK NESTS are situated in a hill and right next to the fishing boats, our ONE BEDROOM Nests are located at 52 South Side Road, Petty Harbour, in a traditional Newfoundland style Salt Box.

Each cozy little Upper and Lower Nest offer a warm modern cottage feel and have everything you need for a truly relaxing, memorable vacation. Enjoy your up-close and personal view of the ocean, cliffs and whales and maybe icebergs even…the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep at night and greet you in the morning! The Nests have the BEST view in the Harbour—HANDS DOWN!

Renters will be sent a full "Rental and Policies Agreement" for review and signing before booking is confirmed.

Getting around

We are a tiny fishing community and therefore do not have public transit coming through. Rent your car as soon as you book your flights as they can be a commodity during high season. A cab ride to downtown is approximately $30. Ask cab company for exact rate.

Interaction with guest

Our guests have their own key to their unit and come and go as they please - but we are a moment away if you need anything! All information on our units is available on Shore Lark by the Sea web. ARRIVAL IS 3:30 PM. DUE TO LIMITED CLEANING TIME PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLIER THAN 3:30PM.

How do damage deposits work?

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
