“Lovely villa, moments from the sea”

Firstly our thanks to our lovely host Becky. I stayed in this excellent villa with my daughter for a week and we had a great time. The villa is in a gated complex in a very quiet residential area. It is of a very high standard and well located for the beach/sea, and with water sports available (in season) 5 or 10 minutes drive away at Faros beach. Becky was great. At my pre arrival request she arranged a taxi to transfer us from Larnaka airport to the villa (only c.15 minutes away). She also arranged car hire for us for the week with a local supplier. It was far cheaper than I could have arranged it and it worked out wonderfully well. The car was perfect and on the last day of the holiday, we drove it back the restaurant where the supplier operates from, had an evening meal, and then the supplier drove us to the airport. It took all the stress out of the return trip. Terrific. Becky also sent us some really useful links showing local bars and restaurants. In terms of location, this villa is in a very quiet area. For us that was a bonus, but it really is essential that you have a car - unless you plan to spend the whole time in the villa and by it's lovely large pool, and maybe walk down to the beach now and again. Let's face it, there are worse ways to spend a holiday(!), but there is really only one restaurant ("The Beach Bar") within walking distance - c.15/20 minutes) and no shops that we came across. We came in on a late flight and were delighted to find the fridge already stocked with bottled water, beer, soft drinks and a bottle of wine. I think the last resident legged it with the corkscrew, but fear not we replaced it! In summary this was an excellent holiday and I would highly recommend it.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
