Pitlandie Wood Lodge is a self-catering lodge situated in the heart of the stunning Perthshire countryside. It is nestled away on its own in a secluded spot yet still within easy reach of numerous award-winning restaurants, shops and activity centres:

This self-catering luxury accomodation sleeps six people and one dog and is beautifully furnished in a contemporary Scottish style with a multitude of mod cons (Sky TV, Wi-Fi, iPod docking station), all modern kitchen appliances and a luxurious steam room.

The lodge comprises:

Bedroom 1 – King size bed with en-suite bath/shower room.

Bedroom 2 – Double bed with a wall-mounted TV.

Bedroom 3 – Twin Beds.

Wet room from which access is taken to the steam room.

Kitchen/dining room equipped with all modern appliances, including fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher.

An open plan sitting room with a 42” flat screen TV, Sky TV, Blu-ray DVD player and a portable iPod docking station.

There is Wi-Fi throughout.

White cotton bed linen and towels are provided.

The lodge has gas central heating and a log burning stove for extra warmth on those chilly Scottish winter evenings.

Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the property.

Large sliding doors lead out onto a spacious deck with table and chairs and deck chairs. You can dine al fresco overlooking a pond with stunning views of the mountains beyond and observe nature at close quarters. Adjacent to the lodge is a mature pine wood where there are red squirrels, roe deer, pine marten and countless bird species. Over 1km of footpaths extend from the lodge garden through approximately half of Pitlandie Wood's 100 acres.

There is ample parking for six cars.

The Scotland region

Pittlandie Wood Lodges is located in our 100 acre woodland with it's own private Scot's pine wood and gardens. The lodge is in an idyllic setting with stunning views over looking a pond and the mountains beyond.

Secluded and blissfully tranquil, nature is at close quarters with ducks and herons dipping into the pond, deer and hares grazing in the paddock and red squirrels feeding in the woods.

Perth

Moneydie is a small hamlet in central Perthshire, two miles west of Luncarty and six miles northwest of Perth.

Perthshire is an excellent starting point from which to explore Scotland as this county is home to some of Scotland’s most scenic countryside. It offers excellent opportunities for active and passive recreation, from observing wildlife to partaking in outdoor sports including fishing, golf, white water rafting, hill walking, visiting historic sites and for the art enthusiasts there are numerous theatres and craft centres.

The Taybank: Renowned folk music pub, once owned by the famous folk musician Dougie McLean. Serving local ales on a river side setting. 18 miles or 15 minutes drive.

Logierait Inn: Highly recommended for excellent food in a cosy atmosphere with open fires. 20 miles or 20 minutes drive.

Apron Stage: Fantastic local restaurant, small and quaint, only 18 covers with an exciting weekly menu always using local produce. Highly recommended. There is a special discount for Pitlandie Wood Lodge customers. 5 miles or 10 minutes drive.

Chatni: An authentic Indian restaurant. The menu covers dishes from India to Bangladesh with unusual local Bengal dishes too. 3.8 miles or 8 minutes drive.

Café Tabou: French bistro dining with a vibrant cosmopolitan feel. Traditional recipes with the emphasis on using local Perthshire produce. 7 miles or 10 minutes drive.

Kinloch House: An award-winning hotel ‘The best of Scottish hospitality and a truly fabulous dining experience’. Exquisite meal in a luxury setting. 17.6 miles or 33 minutes drive.

63 Tay Street: Winner of the prestigious gold award. No 63 Tay Street is a food lover’s delight offering gourmet dinners and superb wine. 7.4 miles or 19 minutes drive.

The owner is a qualified cook and can provide a selection of delicious home-cooked meals using local farm produce by prior arrangement.
