Getting around

The centre of Perth is an easy walk from the house - the high street is just a couple of minutes away. We recommend a car if you plan to explore the surrounding area but it is not essential. Perth train station, which is just a 10-15 minute walk from the house, is well served by all the major Scottish cities. There are direct trains through to London and connections in either Edinburgh or Glasgow to many other destinations. For local travel there is a bus stop directly outside the house.

“Brilliant &”

I would like to thank Nick&Sara, this property was magnificent in many ways. It has a very state home features made us all feel like statesman and yet retained the home away from home feel. The amount of space was unbelievable l especially loved some of the utensils in the kitchen Sara very original and the second living room with many books to delve into. I will certainly be booking with you again as it was too short a visit but from my all our family this is a hidden gem.

This house is awesome! It has absolutely everything you need in a house from the 2 large living rooms to pool room and ping pong! The kitchen is open plan with the dining area and there are ample seats for everyone and great for a night in. The sound proofing is also a BIG plus in this house and you can't hear anything for those who have early risers or late nights, your other guests won't be disturbed by you. I cannot recommend this property enough and with such close access to the town centre as well as being able to walk not too far up the hill or along the river, it really has got everything going for it. Beautiful views over the park and a nice big garden at the back. we stayed in November (twice) and the property is lovely and warm with plenty of hot water too. A class.

Perfect house for 12 friends and family visiting Perth for a wedding. Comfortable, quiet and right in the center of town. We loved it.

The house itself is amazing, and Nick was an AWESOME host. Everyone of us loved the flat and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only smile gripe is the water pressure in the house was really really poor. Although, there are 3 showers in the house only one could really be used at a time otherwise the water would stop flowing! Also, the kitchen was well equipped with tools but in past rentals the owners did have basics in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oils, spices, kitchen towels, dish washing soap) usually left overs from previous guests :) The kitchen "complaint" is very petty, my only wish is the water pressure was improved and the flat would be a perfect 10, even an 11!!! That said, my friends and I will hopefully be able to book again next year :)

Owner's reply: Thanks so much for giving the house such a good review. We're really sorry that you had trouble with the water pressure. We've since had the system re-pressurised and that seems to have solved the problem. As well as the welcome pack, there was also salt, pepper and other items in one of the kitchen cupboards but, following your feedback, we've moved them to a more prominent place so that our guests can find them more easily. Hopefully we'll see you again.
