Description

The Salty is a beautiful contemporary refurbished barn in a spectacular coastal location with panoramic views overlooking Mounts Bay and St Michael's Mount. With extensive use of natural materials, including reclaimed driftwood, the feel of the property is one of openess and simplicity.

The Salty has a huge panoramic window which showcases the wonderful light that graces this part of the world in all weathers.

Contemporary wood burner, underfloor heating, 30 inch tv and DAB radio with i-pod docking add a sense of cosiness. There is also wifi.

The light and airy bedroom has a double bed. There is also a very comfortable single pull-out bed which can be used in the bedroom or the main room for a child or young adult.

Outside there is a decked area with a b-b-q ideal for alfresco dining with a view!

Pets welcome - two dogs maximum (but not allowed on furniture or in the bedroom).

“Stunning location, nice place, friendly owners”

A stunning cliff too location within minutes of the SW coastal path and Perranuthnoe beach. Ideal place for visiting the whole of the peninsular from Lands End to The Lizard and beyond. Nothing is too far away. Place was clean and tidy and nicely laid out with big panoramic sliding doors to allow the land and seascapes into the lounge area. We met the owners when we arrived and both were friendly and obliging and offered advice on places to go , things to see and then places to eat. All in all a top week in a lovely apartment. Recommendations for places to visit would be Kynance Cove (Lizard Peninsular) and the walk along the head land alone the coastal path of the Godrevy Heritage coast, stunning views all around so make sure you take your camera. Can’t recommend the apartment or area highly enough!!

The Salty was a really comfortable and relaxing space. The view was stunning, and the dogs enjoyed walks across the fields to perranuthnoe and the beach (seasonal time restrictions for the dogs). The owner was great at communicating, and provided some welcoming comforts (cheese, biscuits, milk and wine). We enjoyed a fabulous restorative holiday. Definitely recommend.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
