Location description from owner

The England region

West Cornwall is one of the most beautiful areas of the country and offers something for everyone. Miles of quiet sandy beaches, secret coves and rocky cliffs make up this stunning landscape which has proved to be a source of inspiration for many poets and artists. Relax for the day at one of the many golden beaches or enjoy a long walk along the coastline. There are plenty of picturesque villages where you can enjoy a Cornish cream tea or sample real Cornish cuisine in one of the traditional pubs.

Steeped in delightful architecture and enjoying one of the longest promenades in England, Penzance is known for its individuality, breath taking scenery and heritage. There is an abundance of culture and spirit in this area making it an ideal destination for any holidaymaker.

Penzance

You will be positioned within a fine location along the traditional promenade with the main town and picturesque harbours of Penzance and Newlyn just a stones throw away. This historic town offers something for everyone with its many shops, bars, pubs and fine restaurants; art galleries, museums and Penzance’s best kept secret the 1920’s seawater lido: Jubilee Pool.

You will be in an ideal spot for touring South West Cornwall with the best of Britain’s beaches, hidden coves and many coastal paths to explore as well as the quaint fishing villages of Mousehole and Newlyn only a short walk away. Further afield visit the must see open-air Minack Theatre nestled upon the edge of the cliff, take a trip to St Ives with its golden sandy beaches, restaurants and galleries or journey to Land’s End the most westerly point of England with its rugged awe inspiring coastline.

“For a stay in Corwall and Penzance, look no further!!”

Reviewed 31 May 2011

This is our second time in this fantastic flat and we're planning to come back soon again. A car is not essential since there are excellent connections by bus and train and, of course walks!

“Scruffy on the outside, niceon the inside!”

Reviewed 29 May 2011

Beautiful sea views, but also views of waste ground and recycling point! It's a lovely apartment and well worth a stay. Right on the sea front, about a ten min walk out of Penzance centre. Take some sleepy eye masks though as there's no curtains so if you wake up at the first sign of light like me, you'll need to prepare for some early starts!
