"Excellent value for money and modern/clean bungalow"

We had stayed in B&Bs in the area the previous time we visited and this self catering bungalow was excellent vaue for money in comparsion, especially since accomodation generally in Cornwall is quite expensive. The bathroom and kitchen seemed to have been modernised recently, and there was a good supply of crockery and cooking tools/pots/pans etc that all seemed new as well. There is parking on site and it is a few minutes drive to Tesco, Sainsburys superstore and Morrisons to buy all necessary supplies. Penzance is also a few minutes drive and Mousehole just a bit further. St Ives is also very close. There is an information pack left by the owner that has recommendations and information which was helpful. The front door is self locking so will need to have keys on hand just in case when you venture outside. This and other information was carefully explained to us by the owner. The skylight in the double bedroom was one of the highlights of this property. You can see stars in the night time and have it open to have the sun shine through and hear birds calling during the day while having an afternoon nap. There was also a wide variety of books and DVDs which was handy for relaxing in the evenings after sightseeing.

"Excellent Stay"

The cottage was well equipped with everything for a comfortable family stay. Communication from owner and Glen who met us was excellent and very helpful. We had a super stay and would not hesitate to book again in the future. The property was very well priced and superbly situated to access West Cornwall.

"Great holiday cottage with good facilities!"

My family and I spent a week at the cottage in April. The cottage is compact with all the facilities expected in a holiday rental. It has a newly renovated shower room which is decorated very nicely. The cottage has one main living dining area, 2 bedrooms- one double and one twin. It is exactly what is required when you need a good comfortable base in this area of the country. The site itself also has tennis courts, a bar which provides meals and a swimming pool which we made great use of. Use of this facilities was included in the rental. I would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone.

"All you need for a good break"

We had a great "home from home" holiday here just a few minutes drive from Penzance and within easy reach of Newlyn. It was clean and the owners had thought hard about equipment as it had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable (important!) and the kitchen more than adequate to prepare proper meals. In nearby Penzance there were supermarkets to buy food but also plenty of local pubs, restaurants and take-aways for when we decided to give cooking a miss. From the bottom of the drive you look directly over the bay and there are great walks through beautiful countryside or along the relaxing coastline but just sitting on the quiet patio relaxing in the sun with a book and a drink was pretty good too! Our second visit and we'll be back again!

"Fabulous time in Kenegie Manor cottage"

This is our third time Kenegie Manor Cottage. I went with my wife, 2 &1/2 year old baby girl and family friend, stayed 7 nights in OLD COTTAGE. It is a remarkable accommodation, with amazing facility, very good price and very helpful staff. We had a non stopped enjoyment. If my next trip is to Cornwall there is no doubt we will book cottage in Kenegie Manor Thanks for a fabulous time in Kenegie Manor

"Very pleasant and comfortable base for touring Cornwall"

We got a last minute deal and spent a lovely week at Kenegie Manor. Booking and contact with Paul Hunter, the owner, was easy and Glenn was there to meet us on arrival as arranged so we got in and settled quickly, thank you Glenn! The cottage is cosy indeed and is very well kitted out with all modern and good quality furniture and fittings. We loved the kitchen which wanted for nothing. Very comfortable beds although the upstairs sloping roof did catch me out in the bathroom but at over 6 ft. this is my only complaint, and as that is the only one we are very happy to recommend this to any couples who need a base to explore Cornwall. A car is essential as the park is out of Penzance. We made use of the pool which was good and the clubhouse for a drink where the staff were friendly and helpfull. We had a great time and would be happy to do it again, thank you for the rest. Cheers, Gary & Diana.

We spent two weeks here at Easter and could easily have spent longer. The cottage and the site were splendid, and the area around St Ives and Lands End simply outstanding. Having a pool on site was a draw, because we thought it would entertain the children if the weather was unfavourable for outdoor activities. As it happened, it was sunny every day -- I'm not sure how often that happens in Cornwall. There are plenty of tourist attractions in the area, but in fact we spent most of our time walking, cycling, and on the beach. There are a number of incredible beaches a short drive or a stiff walk from the cottage, with sea as blue and as I've ever seen. It's worth seeking out the small coves that are only accessible on foot. I'm not sure how this holiday would have suited people who like late nights and loud music. There was no organized entertainment (I'm happy to say), and the whole area was very quiet in the evenings. There are a couple of theme parks within modest driving distance. We visited Flambards and, surprisingly, had the place almost to ourselves. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I did. Like the weather, I don't know if this relative quietness was exceptional, or if it's always like that. All in all, I can hardly remember when we had a nicer holiday, or one that was such good value for money.

"Great Holiday, excellent value for money"

My wife and I travelled to Kenegie Manor Cottage with my 14 year old daughter, 7 year old son (Autistic), 18 month old foster child and Wilbur the Westie. We had booked our holiday over the internet and communicated with the owner by email. Everything was booked in advance and we were given clear and concise instructions on booking in on the day, the items we needed to take and what was available in the cottage. The accommodation was excellent and clean with everything you could possibly need, how wonderful it was to find a cafetiere under the sink as I'm a fussy coffee drinker. The TV was great with good reception which is a plus and better than past holidays at other venues. The site was clean and friendly and was ideal for us to use a base to travel around Cornwall. Whilst on site I noted the cost of the holiday if booked through the site which was virtually double what we had paid. The resturant on site was lovely and staff friendly. The swimming pool was clean and ideal for the children with the water being warm and pleasant for our foster child who had a fear of water. I can honestly say that I had no complaints about this holiday except for the overcast weather but thats out of everyones control. The only problem I had was getting Wifi access outside the property which was difficult but that may have been my tablet, you could get access at the resturant area. I would recommend this holiday to friends and be confident of their enjoyment.

"Brilliant, ticked all the boxes!"

Lovely location, the cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need. Was great for 2 of us but would be a bit cosy for a larger party.
