Betws-y-Coed is North Wales' most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers, photographers, artists, and game fishermen.

At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs and places to eat and a challenging 9 hole golf course, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre.

Bodlondeb is a charming, 17th century, stone built cottage, supremely located in the delightful village of Betws-y-Coed.

Bodlondeb is light and airy throughout and decorated in a traditional style, amid an inviting "home from home" atmosphere.

Discover the famous Pont-y-Pair bridge, spanning the surging waters of the picturesque River Llugwy, just a stone's throw from the property on the quiet B5106 road to Gwydir Castle.

The drive has parking for three or four cars and is only a few minutes walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants in the village, without the need to use a car, just park , relax and unwind.

Renowned as the "Gateway to Snowdonia", Betws-y-Coed provides excellent mountaineering, mountain biking, canoeing and nature watching opportunities amidst the stunning mountain range that surrounds the area, together with a good choice of shops and pubs. An ideal base for an all year round action packed or restful holiday.

There is now fully secured dedicated free WiFi available throughout the cottage.

“Beautiful”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2018

Beautiful Cottage in a stunning Location, it made the perfect base for us. Plenty of space in the cottage, clean and tidy and everything we needed. The Welcome basket was a lovely touch. I was sorry to leave.

“Amazing house!”

Reviewed 3 Apr 2018

This house is amazing & very conveniently located. Restaurants/pubs & hiking are within walkable distance. We were a party of 11 & it slept all of us very comfortablely. John was a wonderful host. Great communication from the start & left us a wonderful basket of goodies upon arrival. My son left his hat & John had it posted before we even left the area! I highly recommend this place!!

“Our stay at Bodlondeb”

Reviewed 16 Jul 2017

Thank you for our stay at Bodlondeb in betws-y-coed. The house is in a great location with places to eat, gift shops and the beautiful river just a 2 minute walk away along with the great days out just a short drive away. We were able to fit 3 cars on the drive as stated. The house was immaculately clean with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. While there was more then enough bathroom usage for 8 adults and 1 child being 3 separate bathrooms, it was hard to use them all at the same time the temperature and power of the the showers would dip whilst 2 were in use at the same time through no fault of the owners but this would have been handy to know. The garden is beautiful to look at but just to small for a big group to sit in the same space together and again through no fault of the owners we couldn't allow the 1 child we had to play out because of the steps. The owners were wonderful and very helpful and the welcome hamper was superb. We would defenatly stay again.

“Amazing hidden Gem!”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2016

I recently stayed at the cottage with a group of friends as we were attending a wedding at a near by farm. The location was perfect and less than minute walk into the small village filled with cafes, shops and other hotels. The cottage itself was a perfect set up for 10 people, with large kitchen, eating area and lounge. Cannot fault the cleanliness or facilities. The owner was helpful and friendly and even left us a welcome basket which I've never seen before! Value for money was fantastic, we stayed for three nights in total and was significantly cheaper than surrounding basic hotels. we worried about parking 5 cars but there was room for 3 on the drive and there was a lay by, 1 minute from the cottage for the other 2 cars. Lovely small area at the back for BBQ and some piece and quiet! We will coming back as group again and will be recommending!

Owner's reply: Many thanks for your kind comments they are greatly appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you to Bodlondeb :o) it was a pleasure to meet you all.

“Fantastic House”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2013

We had a group of 9 friends (+ a 1 year old). From the beginning of our week there we were made to feel very welcome by Rob and Sue. They gave us a wonderful welcome pack, which was stocked with really useful things and the wine was a most welcome addition :-), and fantastic restaurant recommendations. The house is in a great location, 5 minutes from the main street in Betws. Even with 9 adults and a child the house was big enough to accommodate us without falling over each other and was very child friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this to others and will certainly stay there again should we have the oporotunity to go back to North Wales.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your lovely review, it is greatly appreciated. We would love to welcome you back to Bodlondeb in the near future.
