What ever time of year you choose to visit North Cornwall you can be guaranteed of plenty to do. You can enjoy rugged cliff top walks, surfing or relaxing on many glorious sandy beaches. Cornwall really is a place of outstanding natural beauty.

The Eden Project is within a half hour drive of Newquay. The cultural centre of Penzance is 40 miles away. St Ives, Mousehole and Lands End all have their own charm. Visit the Minack theatre where you can enjoy an outside performance with an enchanting back drop. Don't forget to bring your picnic hamper and wine!

Pentire

Although renowned for its fabulous coastline and beaches, there is more to Newquay than sea and surf. The only zoo in Cornwall is here with over 300 animals and fabulous landscaped gardens, or see sharks and stingrays at the Blue Reef Aquarium.

There are also the delights of a cafe society with trendy beachside bistros, stylish high street venues and local restaurants including Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen' at Watergate Bay. Traditional british food is always available from the cafes, pubs and take-aways around the town.

“Lovely holiday home, great location!”

We had a wonderful week in June at Ocean Gate, warm weather with a lot of sunshine. The appartment is excellent, modern and clean, with everything you need in a holiday home. The location is great - a very short way to the beach and to the „Lewinnick Lodge“. We will come back!

“Spotless new flat in a fabulous location”

Spent a marvelous 2 weeks at Ocean Gate. The flat is full furnished with everything we needed and all in good working order and matching. I was concerned about living on the ground floor, but the complex is on a slope so it's not at street level. Pentire Avenue is a relatively busy road during the day time so there is a little traffic noise when sitting out on the balcony but the roof terrace gives good outdoor space and we never saw anyone else up there. Parking and underground storage v convenient and corner shop just over the road. Heartily recommend and no quibble to get the safety deposit back in full. It's a quality place - book it.

“Great location, well equipped and modern apartment”

Great location just 5 minutes to the beach. apartment was nicely decorated and well equipped with all we needed and clear instructions for everything. Bathroom is lovely and large. Only thing to change would be the sofa was a bit sagging in places but overall great place

“Well worth it.”

Well appointed appartment. Everything you need for a short stay. Pity about the parking bay. So tight I damaged my car and parked on the road the rest of our stay.
