The Cornwall region
Cornwall has lots to offer - whatever your age, whatever your needs and whatever the weather!
The Cornish coastline is beautiful and can be appreciated any time of year. The winter months offer a very atmospheric feeling to Cornwall, especially if there are storms brewing, whilst the warmer summer months offer sunny days and light evenings!
The Eden Project, St Michaels Mount and St Ives are just some of the attractions that are in easy reach of Newquay.
The area of Pentire is relatively quiet. Fistral Beach is a three minute walk away and the truly scenic Gannel Estrury is just five minutes walk. Newquay town centre is approximatley a mile away and can be easily accessed by foot or car. (foot 25mins, car 2/3 mins)
There are plenty of local coastal walks and the beaches around Newquay are breathtaking. Padstow is approximatley 13 miles away and is home to the famous 'Rick Stein's' seafood restuarnt. Booking is a must, especially during busy periods. Watergate Bay is famous for Jamie Olivers restaurant 'Fifteen' - this has lovely views accross the bay and the decor is very funky and uplifting.
The closest restaurant is 10 min walk away and offers really good food and the best views ever - a very popular place to watch the sunset! Alternatively, sit back, relax and watch the world go by from the comfort of the apartment.
The apartment is approximatly 3 minutes walk away from Fistral Spa - a fantastic facility which offers treatment for the body and mind. It also has its own indoor leisure pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, not to mention a well eqipped gym for the more active. You can either book in just for a treatment, or pay a little extra and receive your treatment and full use of the leisure facilites. You can also join as a member for a week or on a monthly basis.

"Good apartment, nice location and perfect for beach."
We really enjoyed our week in the apartment, The apartment itself was well equiped, and comfortable, it had great windows/balconies that made it light and airy. It was great for watching the surfing! We did a lot of walking from the apartment, It was only a 5 min walk down onto Fistral beach, and we walked into Newquay across the beach quite a few times which took about 20/25 mins. I really liked the Lewinnick pub/restaurant , which is a 10 minute walk from the apartment, we had a nice evening meal in the restaurant one night and visited it for a snack in the bar after a long walk in the daytime! We visited Padstow, Watergate Bay and Bedruthen Steps (i'd recommend the cream tea at the cafe!!!) Crantock, and various other beaches which were all a short drive to. We visited Truro which was a bit disappointing, however we brought some great fresh fish/crab at the farmers market. Overall, a good apartment, in a good location if you just want to stay local or for visiting the great places nearby.
glad you enjoyed your stay......
