“Great stay in lovely apartment”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2015

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Really clean with everything you needed provided. Having a car park space was brilliant. Enjoyable walk into Newquay over Fistral beach (our favourite place to be). It was a short walk to Lewinnick Lodge on Pentire where we had a lovely meal. Will defiantly be going back to this apartment and would recommend it.

“An apartment with a view”

Reviewed 12 Oct 2015

My husband and I stayed at Fistral View in September 2015 and would most definitely stay there again if we return to Cornwall. The apartment is beautifully presented with quality furnishings. The main bedroom has an extremely comfy bed! We loved watching the surfers in the sea until late in the evening from either the balcony or living room. Its an ideal base to go and discover other parts of Cornwall or like we did on a few occasions put our trainers on and walk for miles on the beaches and coastal paths.

“A Modern Well Appointed Apartment”

Reviewed 27 Jul 2013

Our stay at Fistral View was in July 2013 for 2 weeks. The arrival details sent were clear and informative so we found the apartment with ease. We did have a problem establishing which key box had the key to the apartment as they are not marked. Although the apartment is located on the top of the 2nd floor there is a lift which is helpful for cases etc. Inside it was lovely, modern and very comfortable and some cleaning products were left for guests including dish washer tablets, bin bags, dish clothes etc. Since we were staying for 2 weeks the bedding and towels were changed by the house keeper after the first week. The view from the lounge is of Fistral Beach or be it over the roofs of other houses but this does not distract, the evening sun sets over the balcony, ideal for evening drinks. It is a very quite location with no noise from Newquay town, you do get some noise, however, from the seagulls but that to be expected. The beach is only a short walk away and it’s a 10-15 min walk into town where there is a Sainsbury’s for your odd bit of shopping. This also has a free 90 min car park as well. The welcome book gives details of places to visit and where to eat, we tried most of the ones listed and found them satisfactory. The apartment has free wifi so it’s worth taking your tablet so you can look up menus before going or finding the post code for your satnav. A very enjoyable holiday was had by all.
