What ever time of year you choose to visit North Cornwall you can be guaranteed of plenty to do. You can enjoy rugged cliff top walks, surfing or relaxing on many glorious sandy beaches. Cornwall really is a place of outstanding natural beauty.

The Eden Project is within a half hour drive of Newquay. The cultural centre of Penzance is 40 miles away. St Ives, Mousehole and Lands End all have their own charm. Visit the Minack theatre where you can enjoy an outside performance with an enchanting back drop. Don't forget to bring your picnic hamper and wine!


Although renowned for its fabulous coastline and beaches, there is more to Newquay than sea and surf. The only zoo in Cornwall is here with over 300 animals and fabulous landscaped gardens, or see sharks and stingrays at the Blue Reef Aquarium.

There are also the delights of a cafe society with trendy beachside bistros, stylish high street venues and local restaurants including Jamie Oliver's 'Fifteen' at Watergate Bay. Traditional british food is always available from the cafes, pubs and take-aways around the town.

Newquay is great for children and adults alike with it's trendy nightlife and days relaxing on the golden sands. Play a round of golf or take a trip around Newquay bay and catch some mackerel. Indulge in a little retail therapy or visit some of Newquay's fantastic attractions.

"Excellent location"

Lovely clean modern apartment very well equipped with all the necessary gadgets and utensils. Conveniently located next to Fistral beach (5 min walk) and just a 15 min walk to the busy town of Newquay which was great as it meant we could have a nice meal and a drink without the expense of taxis. Having our own car parking space was a god send as parking is horrendous around Fistral beach and Newquay. Lots of places to visit, too many to mention but as the weather was gorgeous we mainly visited the beach daily as we have 2 teenage sons who just love to body board. the waves are pretty big here, so if you have small children you would need to be with them in the sea although the beach is manned by lifeguards. Lots of snack bars and cafe on the beach, we didn't use them so I couldn't comment on the food. a couple of niggly things in the apartment but did not impact on our stay. The cold water in the main bathroom shower was very warm to the point where you could not stand under it for too long, it was too warm for my boys so they used the shower in the en suite so it wasn't really a big deal. There is a balcony where you can sit out but the view looks out onto the road and does not make for a relaxing rest as cars and people look up at you. We ate in The Fort Inn in Newquay town quite a lot, really nice food and great for families and dogs are permitted inside on a lead, gets very busy but the views to the beach are stunning. I would stay here again if I visit the area.

"Fantastic apartment - great location for walking to Fistral & into Newquay"

2nd visit to 59 Tre Lowen - brilliant base for exploring Newquay & the surrounding area. Apartment very clean & excellent facilities. Easy walking distance to Fistral & Newquay town centre. Added addition this year of hooks in surfboard store great for hanging up wetsuits & the airer in the apartment very welcome. Great communication from Louise regarding the apartment & the mid stay change of towels & sheets. Would highly recommend.

"Want to keep this gem to myself."

An absolutely fantastic place to stay. Just outside Newquay this quality apartment had everything you require to make your stay enjoyable. Ok it doesn't have a sea view but thats the only thing lacking as its a beautifully kept place. We looked forward to going back each day and it more than made our holiday. A perfect position for going out and about Cornwall as we did and had every facility for home cooking which we enjoyed , especially the fresh local caught fish. Just wish i could keep this to myself.

"Fabulous location & a great base to explore Cornwall"

Clean, well-appointed apartment within easy walking distance to Fistral beach & a 10-15min walk into Newquay. Surfboard store ideal (although some hanging hooks/rail for wetsuits would be useful). A clothes airer would have been useful too. This was our first visit to Cornwall & we are so glad we picked this apartment - leaving our car in the allocated parking space to enjoy the delights of Newquay, particularly Fistral beach, or an ideal base to explore this gorgeous part of the country. Great communication from the Housekeeper throughout our 2 week stay which included bed-linen & towel change & the tea/coffee, fresh milk in the fridge & biscuits on arrival a very welcome surprise. We would have no hesitation to book here again.

"Home from home"

A spacious well furnished and comfortable apartment in a good position for all Newquay has to offer,lovely coastal walks and sun on the balcony most of the day would have no hesitation in booking this apartment again when in Newquay.

"A home away from home"

Excellent service from point of booking to receiving information by text to advise about arrival. Apartment had everything you could possibly need and was just as seen in pictures on website, high quality furniture and very clean and tidy. Ideally located for beach and walking distance to centre of Newquay. Great holiday. We hope to return.
