Set on an acre of land on a peaceful and secure site within the owners' grounds this skilfully designed cottage is serviced almost entirely with renewable energy and offers guests superb, luxury accommodation at any time of the year. Peace and quiet; perfect for a romantic break away from it all. A spacious cottage of 670 square feet (204 sq metres) over 2 floors with a private patio area and use of the whole garden.

We usually are able to meet you on arrival and show you around. The cottage is on the owners property so someone is generally on hand if you need anything but will always keep a discrete distance. Visitors peace and privacy is paramount to us.

“What a wonderful place to stay!”

My partner and I arrived at Silver Arrow cottage and we were greeted by a very friendly Snowy, who informed us that a pint of milk had been left in the fridge for us, along with a delicious packet of biscuits. He then showed us around the cottage, which could only be described as heavenly. The cottage was cosy, extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. It really was luxury 5* accommodation. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a lovely breakfast before heading off to explore Cornwall. We wanted to be close to everything Cornwall had to offer, but we also wanted a bit of peace and quiet. Silver Arrow was perfect for that. The bedroom and bathrooms were beautifully finished and we didn't want to leave. A 5 night stay simply wasn't long enough. The gardens were superb and we loved spending an evening sitting around the bonfire with our fantastic hosts, Judith and Snowy, drinking Prosecco and toasting marshmallows. We would love to come and stay again and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful holiday cottage in a beautiful location for excellent value. We couldn't fault it.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Judith (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
