Location description from owner

The England region

This is Penryn, Falmouth, Cornwall. The area has been here since the 16th Century when the mail Packet ships were based here delivering mail around the world. The sail shop for these ships is still here, but recently developed. The town has recently had the Exeter University Art college arrive, together with other annexes making the town become alive with student life too. Penryn was the main port until the estuary silted up early in the 19th century. The ships became bigger and Falmouth grew into a major port. Cornwall is the furthest south west county, and is thus warmer that the rest of England. It has many beautiful coves and Sea Estuaries, fabulous Gardens, and many palms. There is a strong sea fayreing community and many activities through the summer a scheduled in the harbour.
