The north coast is a popular destination for surfers, and there is also numerous quality golf courses and fine dining. There are a number of cycle paths that snake there way through the county and are an excellent way to view the countryside. World class attractions include the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Minack Theatre to name but a few.
A beautiful small town that is steeped in history, Penryn has now developed into a centre for creative arts that has spilled out from the local university campus. Located at the head of Penryn river, the town was a medieval port and this history is clearly visible as you stroll around the town . With a number of artisan shops and a sustainable development at Jubilee Wharf including shops, businesses and a charming waterside cafe. Raze the Roof, a large indoor play area and Granite Planet Climbing Wall are both very close to Trematon Holiday home and are perfect for those rainy days.

"Great place, great view, comfortable and homely"
We booked a bit last minute really but fell on our feet finding this place. We just wanted a couple of nights whilst moving our daughter into her new university halls. The location was perfect for us , just 5 minutes walk from where she was staying. Eight of us stayed at Trematon for two nights. It was very clean, comfortable and homely. Plenty of room for everyone. Lovely view looking out over the railway bridge and estuary. Lots of books, DVDs and toys/ games to use. Nice quiet street and just a short drive or taxi ride into Falmouth. I am sure we will be back again.

"Fabulous place for Christmas"
We made a booking to go to Cornwall at Christmas as we wanted enough space for three generations to enjoy time together and somewhere where we could take our dogs. The house proved perfect for this. It gave lots of comfortable space and was brilliant for the big feast! We were pleasantly surprised how well provisioned the kitchen was. My hubby is the chef and he loved that there was the sort of equipment that we have at home, which you do not normally get at a holiday home. There are numerous board games, puzzles, DVDs etc which was ideal for keeping everyone entertained. The local town was really quaint and the views from the house were lovely. I thoroughly recommend this place, we will definitely be returning.
