Location description from owner

The North Wales region

Penrhyside is in the centre of the North Wales Coastal Resorts, close to a small bay know locally as Shell Bay or Angel Bay and Penrhyn Bay which boasts a sandy beach with beautiful views and lots of rocks explore. A cycle route will take you safely in either direction along the coastal path. To the east, you will find the golf links, then maybe rest a while at Rhos-on-Sea and visit the chapel of St Trillo, which is the smallest chapel in Britain and look out for oyster catchers, cormorants and the ancient monks fishing weir at low tide. Enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many cafes, pubs or ice cream parlours in Rhos-on-Sea. Daily fishing trips can be booked from the Harbour. To the west of Bay View Cottage, take the car, bus, cycle, or walk to Llandudno the Queen of Welsh Resorts; which has a wealth of attractions including a Farm Park, paddling pool, donkey rides, the Great Orme Ancient Copper Mines, and the Victorian Pier. On the Great Orme you will find a dry Ski Slope, Snowboarding and Toboggan Centre.

In Llandudno, you will also find plenty to do if it rains including ten pin bowling, shopping, visits to the Cinema, leisure centre, art gallery and first class theatre.

“Bay View a first class holiday cottage”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2015

Bay View had everything we required for a perfect holiday, the standard of cleanliness and comfort could not have been better. We found that the view from the conservatory was stunning, the cottage is situated in a very peaceful setting and is easily accessed.A 5minute drive and we were in Llandudno . The cottage was easily found and the location of it is superb for access to the area. We have already told our friends about it and we will be returning to this lovely place.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for your kind review.

“Stunning Views”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2015

Bayview Cottage is aptly named - the views from the back of the property (including one of the bedrooms and the conservatory) are absolutely amazing. The house is situated on a very steep hill so wouldn't suit everyone, and the last part of the journey is very steep, very narrow, and single-track. The house was clean and comfortable and reasonably well equipped. We found it a good base for visiting Llandudno, Conwy, Bodnant and Snowdonia Park. I would stay here again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review of the cottage and also the fabulous photo of the 'Laburnum Arch' at Bodnant Gardens at its best.
